    I upgraded from the series 1 Apple Watch. The series 5 features (such as always on face) were not sufficient to justify the cost difference. Love all the faces and additional features (e.g., walkie-talkie, fall notification, etc.) that are in this watch. At 2/3rds the price of a series 5, this was a bargain for a fully-featured Apple Watch - whether it's an upgrade or a starter.

    We purchased this watch for my grandma's 85th birthday. As soon as I got it set up she was asking Siri to add things to her grocery list! She loves that she can see and respond to her texts without picking up her phone, also. It's fun to watch her get up and exercise after she gets the notification to stand! All in all, a great watch, even for those without tech confidence.

    The new Apple Watch is great for doing exactly what it should do - give me snapshot information really quickly without needing much input. I routinely look at the temperature on my watch and also the date when I forgot. I also control my music on it when I ride my bike to work. Sometimes I forget that I'm wearing it and am happy when I realize that I want to check something and it's right there on my wrist.
