Customers are saying

Customers are positive about the Apple Watch Series 4's ease of use, fitness tracking capabilities, stylish design, long battery life, and affordability. They appreciate the convenience it brings and find the size to be just right. However, some customers find it expensive and have concerns about its durability. Others mention the inconvenience of having to charge it frequently and wish they had opted for the cellular connectivity feature. There is also a bit of a learning curve for some users to fully utilize all of its features.

The battery life on apple watches is so poor is just not usable. I switched back to my pebble time with a week of battery life. The apple watch faces just don't impress me much. Audio quality is poor. Apps are too hard to develop yourself to make custom watch faces. Touch screen is too small to be useful, Needs more buttons instead of a touch screen. Its too thick and bulky. Does not fit standard watch bands unless you buy a bulky adapter. I gave this away and put my pebble back on. Still plan on using pebble in 2022 and beyond.

To be honest not quite what you expect from apple. It is an afterthought product with very generic design. Let me put it like this - you will like it or maybe love it but you won't go omg that's a cool watch and I would spent money for sure.

Love this watch. I had a Series 0. The face popped off and I got tired of super-gluing it back on. The Series 4 is a great upgrade coming from the original AW. Speed, screen size, and battery life, are definitely nice improvements. My Series 0 would last morning till night and need a charge. My new Series 4 goes from one morning after a shower to the next morning before a shower (including checking news and messages, maybe a call or two if I'm moving around too much to keep moving my phone, an hour long workout, light app use, and sleep tracking with an app) and still has 40-50%. I charge it while I’m showering and doing my makeup because I’m not using it then. Automatic workout detection is sooo nice. I often forget to start tracking, and this AW will actually notice activity and ask me if I want it to track. If the activity it picks up is wrong, I can change it, and it picks up right where it left off as if I’d remembered to start the thing when I should have. Range (Bluetooth/WiFi) on the GPS version is great, so I don’t feel the need for cellular for my purposes. This isn’t 4 specific, my 0 had the same connectivity. I can leave my phone upstairs in a 3300 sq ft house and get calls/texts while out on the back patio (this is the furthest my phone ever is from me). The ability to customize with watch faces and apps is nice. This also is not 4 specific (though I love the new “infograph” face), but distinguishes AW from a Fitbit I used to have. You want something? There’s an app for that, take your pick. You don’t want it? No need to clutter up your stuff with it. The silver/white is a very nice combo, and all my old bands still work with this one (so glad Apple didn’t do us like the lightning switch). Personally, I’m not sure I would have paid $400 + tax if I had a 3, maybe even a 2?? Coming from the Series 0, I definitely most appreciate the improved battery life, the fact that it is waterproof so I can finally swim with my watch on, and the increased speed. The screen is amazing though. I felt the 42mm watch was too big, so I dealt with the 38mm face being small for typing/passcode. The 40mm size and more use of the face itself ultimately played a role in me coughing up the extra dough for the Series 4 vs the still available Series 3. The added features are a nice plus. Having had a Fitbit Charge 2, the seamless integration with my phone while still having fitness tracking capabilities, as well as being customizable make the AW an easy choice for me.

I needed the watch for tracking my workouts and sleep. I have to remove the watch daily to charge which sometimes I forget to do, so it has no use for it since it will have no charge. They need to improve battery life then I will buy again.

It was brand new in the box, never opened. Bought it for daughter’s birthday. It couldn’t charge the watch. Finally found out that It came with defective charger. I can’t believe Apple products can come like that from factory.

The screen pops out because the battery swells up. Apple warranty is 1 year but it will replace battery for 3 years. It’s a design flaw. If we didn’t go in before 3 year period we have to trash the device!?!
