I bought this when it first came of a couple of years ago and it simply just works. Easy to use and syncs seamlessly. However it did seem to get I little tricky syncing with iPhone 12.

Not sure of what the hype is

Using it for two weeks now, I am unclear why one would need one. It's a good fitness tracker but otherwise if you usually have your phone near you, it's fairly useless. If you never had an Apple Watch but are thinking of buying one, look closely at what it actually does and whether it worth the price for you.
