Sometimes I get messages on my phone and it does not beep even when I am back close to the watch and sometimes it beeps immediately very undependable.

Apple improved their watches

My wife loves Apple products, she is the reason I made this purchase. Yes, the color isn't gold, but that's NOT a surprise. Its what Apple calls Rose Gold. Some people like it, others don't. If its GOLD you're seeking, Rolex has 24K gold watches on sale. Otherwise, this little gem will serve my wife's needs.

The best Apple Watch yet (By far)

You can tell the people who designed this actually wear the watch every day, and they keep tweaking it, and making it better. If you've like the watches before, this one is just better, faster, clearer (both sound and text). I love it. It's waaaay worth the wait if you ask me. If you have a series 3, I'd say just keep it. Otherwise, BUY THIS ONE.

Great overall Smartwatch for everyone!

With my xs max, I also bought this watch and it is overall a really amazing watch! Screen is awesome, super user-friendly, and great for working out! It automatically tracks if you're doing a workout and asks if you would like to record it as a workout. The only little con I could find was battery life. I'm coming from a Samsung gear s3 and the battery life on that thing was a beast... I could easily get 4 days out of that watch. On the series 4, after day two, I have to charge it again. I guess if you're coming from a previous series, then battery life has probably increased. Other than that, great watch and super clean look to it!
