Upgraded from a Apple Watch 3. Much larger screen and the bands from the series 3 fit the 4 perfectly. If you want to save a few bucks get the open box version.

Had the apple series 3 watch and loved it. Wanted to upgrade and now I love the series 4. Bigger screen!

The Apple Watch 4 is worth the purchase and if applicable, well with the upgrade. I upgraded from the Apple Watch Series 1 and this purchase was a big leap and well worth the upgrade. I plan to sell my Series 1 as it still works fine. I have the iPhone X and still love it a year later. However, the Apple Watch 4 has me the most excited. I’d be hard pressed to find anything wrong with this watch except the cost. It’s too expensive, but even then worth the cost. Most importantly, it solved my battery problem. I don’t mind charging my watch every night along with my other devices, but the older watch battery ran down before the night was over (if you worked out during that day). With the Apple Watch 4 battery life, I’m able to workout for 4 to 5 hours and still have more than 65% battery life. I have yet to see the battery run down below 20% after a 6 hour workout and many more hours of other activities. I wear my watch about 15 hours a day and the battery life is great! Of corse I have increased speed, larger screen and ease of use as well. But the battery life was the deal breaker for me.

I had a series 1 and loved it. so I debated buying a series 3 and save the extra money. Glad I went to the 4 bigger screen, 2 days of battery life in heavy use and much faster. Great purchase

Having had all versions of the Apple watch since the beginning, this is the best yet. Definitely faster in all respects including 1/3 of the startup time. Mine boots in 32 seconds. Feels snappier than the Series 3 and the larger screen is a definite plus. Siri response seems better and the Activity tracking is more accurate. I compared my gold Series 3 to my new gold Series 4 and the 4 is slightly darker and more yellow. Despite what others are saying it is NOT pink, in fact the new version is more yellow gold than the previous one. Absolutely worth buying even if you have the Series 3.

Have original iWatch that still works very well with my iPhone 6. Apple no longer updates iOS for either phone or watch which sucks The way Apple sabotages products that otherwise work fine should be criminal. Sure cameras have gotten better in the iPhone but usability of the iPhone 6 and original iWatch still function very well. Maps, notifications of news and sports scores, messages and weather along with phone calls work together well. Newer models of both iPhone and iWatch have improved and if I were making a new purchase I get the newest, however for the price of not upgrading productivity doesn’t suffer at all and the money is better spent elsewhere. That said a second iWatch is nice to have as one is always at full charge. The iWatch 4 is the last mode, that works with the iPhone 6. The Health benefits are a serious upgrade. Apple of course plays games and you have to really work to find the series 4 as it is discontinued and only the Series 3 is available. A series 5 with compass would have been nice but the iPhone has a compass. The health benefits of the 4 over the 3 remain. 5G might make the iPhone 6 replacement come sooner and the series 4 will be supported longer then the series 3. Truth be told, I do appreciate the benefits of having the Series 4 when on my wrist, but don’t miss it a lot when the original watch is on instead. I do feel lost when neither is on. This is how much an iWatch has become must wear gear.

I've owned the first Apple Watch and the Series 2. I was going to hold out on getting a new one for another year or two, but through my own stupid mistake, my Series 2 broke. I am really happy with the Series 4. The processor speed finally matches what the Apple Watch is trying to do. There are very few times I am waiting for the UI to catch up with the actions I've taken. It feels like a finished product now. I also do like the bigger screen and the flatter case. I appreciate that I didn't have to buy new bands either because the old ones fit the new watches. I wouldn't hesitate recommending this to anyone except maybe owners of a Series 3 (because I can't speak to how much faster a 4 is than a 3).

As far as the watch goes it's a 5 star rating. I previously had a series 2 Apple Watch and this one is so much better. It has a larger screen but the body is the same size as my series 2. 2 millimeters really makes a difference in readability. I also like the additional watch face options that weren't available on my series 2. And best of all, it boots up in about 1/4th of the time as my old watch. I can go two days on a single charge. I turn it off at night when I go to bed and when I turn it on the morning it only takes about 20 seconds to boot up. My series 2 took a couple minutes. I took off two stars because of my disappointing shopping experience. I ordered the watch online with shipping to the store because that was the fastest option. Expected delivery was on a Friday. Friday afternoon I was out driving so I stopped by to see if it was in. I hadn't received the email saying it was but since I was in the area I figured I'd check. I was also going out of town the next morning and was hoping to have it for my trip. The watch wasn't in. On Sunday I still hadn't received an email but I saw on their website that they had 3 in stock at the store. I asked my wife to call and have them set one aside for me. The representative told her they couldn't do that but said that orders are filled before they release the product into general inventory so I would be fine. On Monday when I returned home I went into the store. Still no watch. I asked if they could just get one from the general inventory but apparently someone was in the process of buying the last one. Needless to say I wasn't happy. I had already paid for my purchase yet I was last in line; not to mention what I was told about previous orders being filled first was not true. The next day I received an email saying the watch was in. By that time my trade in offer for my series 2 watch had expired so I ended up selling the watch myself.

I held on to my first generation (series 0) for 3 years, as I was able to take care of it and it kept on ticking. The processer was getting slow, and I was missing out on various enhancements (e.g. water resistant), but believe that you should get at least 3 years use out of such a product. I love the larger screen, the processing speed is snappy, health monitors are working better, and the new watch faces with the new Watch OS are handy. In general, I think that the Watch is a great extension of the iPhone and I think it is worth the cost due to health tracking, calendar notifications, call screening, etc.

Great watch, excellent screen size. Got this for my girlfriend for her birthday, a huge upgrade over the series 1 I gave her earlier last year. Battery life is top-notch and the screen size helps make text very readable.

When the Apple Watch first came out I joked with my friend that the only way I'd buy one is if Apple took the clock function off of the iPhone. However, I'm enjoying the different uses of this smart watch. There are a lot of great health related apps and functions that you can use to motivate you to get up and move, even for just a little bit. The new series is also a little bigger which I like. I'm glad I waited as long as I did to get one of these because Apple has made it more useful than I thought the watch would be.

I had the series 1 and my wife had the series 2. We both upgraded to the series 4 and it was worth it. This watch is so much faster than it’s predecessors. The screen is much bigger and more responsive. You won’t be sorry!

I bought this watch as an upgrade from the series 1 that I got in 2017. Everything about this series 4 is much better - battery, screen size, and I'm loving this sport loop band. Super breathable for the skin!

This series 4 is an upgrade from the original version that I passed on to my husband. I love how Apple maximized the screen size with this series. And the battery life is a major improvement from the original.

I love the new serious 4 Apple Watch the new screen size and louder speakers and heart rate features convince me to buy it just the price it’s expensive

Love this watch! I went from a Series 0 to this Series 4 and there’s no comparison. Much faster, larger screen, no lag, it’s much improved. It’s what the Apple Watch should have been in the first place.

I decided to upgrade to the Series 4 from the Series 2. At first I thought I wouldn’t really be able to justify the purchase as my Series 2 was in great shape and still performing well as far as tracking my fitness. After spending a few days with the Series 4 I was completely hooked. The bigger screen is exceptional. There’s more content to be seen in just about the same footprint as the Series 2. Fitness tracking on the Series 4 is much more accurate I feel, and the ECG feature is pretty neat. I also like how much more flush the watch looks on the wrist vs the series 2. Overall I’m very pleased with my purchase and glad I made the jump.

After owning the first gen, then the second. I skipped the 3rd gen! BUT WOW! This thing is leaps above the 2nd gen that I had! So fast and the larger screen makes it nice!

This is a great upgrade from my series 2 watch in every way. This is noticeably faster and has a bigger screen with better sound.

The screen is gorgeous bigger, brighter, and nicer to look at. Otherwise it’s not much different but I got hooked by the difference between this and my series 3.
