Watch was new to me since the first generation. The heart capability on it for ecg and variance throughout the day will be a game changer bringing a healthy lifestyle and heart conscawareness to many. The rest of the watch was similar to my other Apple Watch, but I also think the freedom of Cellular where I do not bring my phone allows me to feel safe and know an emergency call can be picked up or made just about anywhere.

This watch does everything! My daughter loves it. IThe Series 4 also has a ton of additional health features. For starters, it can now detect when you fall by analyzing wrist trajectory and impact acceleration. It will then initiate an emergency call. If it senses you’re immobile for 1 minute, it’ll automatically call and send a message to your emergency contacts using the SOS feature.

I've had the watch for over a year now and have really enjoyed the health features as well as the long battery life - typically 2 full days. Typical iOS ease of use with decent interface to phone. I got the 44mm and love the size and clarity. Also surprised how much i've used the phone feature since I don't have to have my max-sized phone on me all the time.

This is my 3rd Apple Watch and it by far exceeds expectations. The larger screen, improved battery life and lsoftware are great. I use the medical software to track my heart rate and the activity monitor to count my steps and flights. The ability to answer phone calls, read iMessages and see news alerts are also excellent. I would and have recommended the Apple Watch 4 to friends. It really works!

I purchased the Apple Watch because it has "fall" detection. My husband refused to wear the Guardian device I purchased earlier this year for more than the cost of this watch. He likes this watch. He can receive and make phone calls from it. I have peace of mind that it has the ability to sense if he falls and it will notify me and/or 911 in an emergency. Great little device.

the advancements in watch technology is amazing. my son loved his so much and my daughter tried to bribe him w money to allow her to wear it for a few days so i decided to buy her 1 also. they/ we are very satisfied w this product and look to the future for more advancements that i think w include multiple health monitoring systems that will connect patients directly to their doctors etc.

I've had Apple watches since the beginning, skipped series 2, and now use a series 3 with cellular for myself and it works well. I picked up this series 4 for my mother, since she's getting up there in age, and was wearing a "fall monitor" device just in case something happened, as she lives alone. But that cost quite a chunk for the monthly fee, this seemed a good plan to save her some money. It has the same fit and finish as all of them had so far, excellent craftsmanship. Unlike so many other fitness bands (MIcrosoft Band, anyone?) this doesn't get all weird and sandpapery where the metal is on the bottom from being worn. The integration with my apps is nice, and even things like my garage door, my furnace, all the stuff I can do with the watch alone is just mind boggling. For me, the best use is at a theme park, so I can still have the phone if needed, but not need to carry around an actual phone. Not as easy to send messages and such on, but when it's all there is, if you didn't want to drag the phone with, it works in a pinch. Even the simple "call you back" or "I'm busy" quick replies it does at least let people know you received their message. I'm not a fan of the price, but since I got this after the series 5 came out, I saved a good chunk of the cost, and at this price point, it's well worth the 5 stars.

This is the reason we have all Apple products.....this watch is awesome.... I especially like the fall detection feature as this is looking out for my health and well being... I fish everyday and sometimes there is no one around so this watch makes me feel secure and safe knowing I can just use my watch to get help....there are MANY extra features, especially the music.....

This is my first smartwatch and I had been hesitant buying one since I wasn’t sure I’d find a use for it. After only 7 hours I am in love with it!!! Not being tied down to the phone as I run around is great! The dictation for texting could use some tweaking, but if I am going to send a paragraph as a text I’ll just type it on the phone! The style is slim, sleek and shiny! All around great product!

I can't deny that I love Apple products. The Apple Watch is no different. There's quite a lot that can be done with this little wonder, but there is a bit of a learning curve--its not as simply intuitive as the phone. The crown functionally take some getting used to. I did purchase the watch with cellular, but my current carrier doesn't support this (I made the purchase with the intention of changing carriers), so I cannot yet comment on cellular capability. The activity rings seem to be off a little bit, but they still give you at least some idea where you are in relation to other days. It's really nice to know how many calories you've burned for the day. And the reminders to stand and breathe and move are handy. If nothing else, it might guilt you into getting off your rump for a bit. There are some neat little features for navigation, and you can control your iPhone's playlist, as well as your Apple TV with the watch as well. Weather apps are terrific. Still could use some more apps, but those will come with time and updates. And battery life (typically about two days for me) could be better, but that's true of all Apple products at this time. Even with the learning curve and it's minor downsides, it's a great purchase. You won't be disappointed. (At least until Siri has a stroke and navigates you to an airport instead of your favorite Best Buy!)

Had the Apple Watch 42mm series 3 with LTE, but jumped on the 44mm series 4 for the bigger screen, bigger battery, better sensor suite, you name it, its all better! This watch is much faster than earlier versions and the new microphone placement makes using Siri that much better. The cellular LTE works amazingly well too! If you're in the market for a smart watch, this is the one to get!

I have held back from buying one of these for years. They were too hokey but it seems apple has finally fully realized the potential of this watch. The newest version is larger and the screen quality is amazing. Touch is highly accurate (no misplaced touches). Dictation works great. Wallow talkie is excellent. Only warning is if you have company locked down cell phone don’t bother buying the LTE version as you will not be able to link it. I have Verizon and we were able to get them to drop the $30 activation fee... you get what you negotiate... and I did not buy it from Verizon. You do not need a Verizon version to use with Verizon unless you want a new number... if you are just ordering to pair with your existing phone, even if you want LTE, just order the non carrier specific version. SO SOMPLE TO SET UP... AMAZINGLY APPLE.

Really surprised that the data from this is as actually useful as it is. Some fun elements include auto-detection of what type of stroke I'm swimming in the activity tracker, the heartrate monitor during sleep, and being able to not take my phone with me is awesome. Bonus I scored an open box right after the Series 5 released so the price was nice.

Good quality and larger screen makes a difference. Easy to use

My S2 was near 3 years old, working fine but it was time for an upgrade. The new features of the S5 didn't entice me enough to get one so I ended up with an S4. Its a night and day difference from the S4. while physically not much larger the display is much larger. Its very fast. Got while on sale which made this an even better deal.

Had to trade up from Fitbit to the new Series 4 Apple Watch. Love the upgrade. Very happy with the large 44 mm. Screen. Easy to read, easy to navigate. Does what my Fitbit did and more! Enjoy discovering all this watch can do! Really like the pink sand band with RoseGold frame. Looking forward to getting more band colors to coordinate with outfits.
