It is all about practicality

So do you really need an additional device that shows time? Well, apparently, most people think they do. Most of the useful extra features that Apple Watch offers work only when used with an iPhone. So in a sense, you still have to use the iPhone (which shows time fine on its own) with your watch. What is the point of having it then? Well, a fashion accessory for one. Personally, I don't find it stylish or appealing (purchased it for a gift, and am not planning on buying one for myself any time soon if ever). Apple's design has been going down the hill for years. But it is a matter of taste. The popularity of this device speaks for itself. My opinion: A bit bland and extremely overpriced by Apple. It really should not cost an extra $300 to go from aluminum to steel (fortunately, purchased it during a huge sale for a price of an aluminum watch)
