I purchased the Apple Watch Series 5 (GPS) to see what the big deal is about. I have had a Fitbit Versa for four years. I have had it for about a month and I can't say that is it better than the Fitbit, but I like it. Also, I haven't been able to work out as usual because of the current shutter in place. My biggest fear is being allergic to the aluminum. It is user friendly and it is slightly heavier than the Versa, but it has more things and apps than the Versa. It also has fall notification, which means if you fall and you are down for a certain amount of time it sends a notification to EMS a gives your location. This is a good feature for someone who lives alone no matter what your age. I had the 40mm Apple Watch, but the face was too small. I have a small hand and wrist and it looked like a child watch on me.

I like to know about my activities. First I used it for gym. but then I used to it and loved it.

The heart monitor on my watch saved my life. I was feeling funny heart beats and took my EKG with my new watch which told me I was in A-Fib and I emailed it to my cardiologist. He verified that I was and I saw him the next day. He gave me a halter monitor to wear for the next 14 days and prescribed a medication to prevent blood clots. If it wasn't for my watch I wouldn't have known I had an A-Fib incident.

The always on display is a real big upgrade. I wear it everyday, like a real watch. Super cool.
