If you have the extra money to spend, I’d definitely say go for it. However, I wish I would’ve waited for the Apple Watch SE. The extra features in the series 5 that make it cost more, I don’t even use.. like the always on display on ECG sensor.

best version of the series

While not a huge update from the Series 4, it does provide always on ability which some people will value. If that's important to you, this is the version to get. Apple has continuously refined it's wearable and it's pretty great.
