I upgraded to this from the series 3 and really like it. I really do like the always-on display as well. A word of warning/advice for anyone with dark (red or black) tattoos, it will interfere with the HR sensor and will lock the watch since it thinks that it is no longer on your wrist. I have just enough space that I can wear it without too many issues.

Despite being a Series 5, I did not feel there’s much to separate this from the previous models. Otherwise fits well and is faster than previous designs. I’m a tad disappointed in the Pride options for watch faces; was hoping for Pan flags, too. You can stylize your own pride flag which is nice though.

Have been a Fitbit wearer for years. Decided to go with Apple Watch when the Fitbit battery stopped holding charge (something the all the previous Fitbits started doing after 12-18 months of use). Am really appreciating how much more the Apple Watch can do for me over the Fitbit. My only criticism is the fact I have to recharge it nightly.

At my age of 64, I really enjoy the exercise monitor app. It keeps track my time, my steps taken or how many miles I have walked. It also tells me how many calories I have burned. Also the Heart monitor is awesome! It gives me my heart rate and will let you know when your heart rate is too high. You can even take a EKG and record it.

I’m certainly not the most athletic or fitness-oriented person but I definitely found myself more excited to to get my exercise and calorie goals everyday since having this watch. It’s also very useful not having to check my phone so often when I can get all of my notifications on the watch. Definitely do not regret the purchase!

I still use my watch daily and honestly it feels weird sometimes not having it on because I'm so used to having it constantly. Everything is literally from your phone on there so this is really great for people who can't be on their phones at work. I would say wait till there is a sale to get one though.

I upgraded from a Gen 2. The graphics are much nicer and the new features of watchOS are pretty nice. The only negative at this point is the battery life. My Gen 2 would go for a couple of days on a charge, this thing barely lasts a 24-36 hrs. I know that is a huge issue and Apple is supposed to be fixing it in the next software update. Glad I upgraded!
