I am actually not a huge fan of the always on display, I honestly don’t think it was a big enough feature to ´wow’ me. Also I wish it had more built in features or things that come with the watch app like the Fitbit and Fitbit app does. To me, tracking sleep and diet should be included, and the activity app is limited. Definitely needs a better battery, and more options within the app itself. I don’t think I need the cellular version but I can understand why people like to have it. I get that’s it more a smart watch than a fitness tracker, but for the price, I shouldn’t be comparing it to my Fitbit Versa, which offered more for $200 less. It’s good for iPhone users like myself, where the mirror my iPhone options come in handy. However, there’s much more to be improved.

This watch is as great as my series 1 which still runs great, holds battery power, and looks great. I was not happy that the larger size increased from 42mm to 44, but the old bands still fit, as Apple neglected to adjust to fit the groove fully, so that's got it's pros and cons. I was concerned about getting one without the GPS, but upon researching it found that it's a drain and I don't need it. I do wish it came in rose gold, but at least I wasn't forced to get the black one. The gold looks a little more delicate for a woman, and that's only important to me because I have small wrists and the face is large. I'm also old, so I can read it better since it's large. Again, pros and cons. I'm happy.

Firstly- I like the features! Apple did a great job with interface, etc. NOW- the reason I did not give it 5 stars: the screen got its first scratch in less than one week! This is VERY disappointing, as I am NOT hard on any of my devices, iPhone, iPad, etc.... I work in an office environment, not construction! So- great watch, not so great screen. If you buy, good choice, BUT- treat it like you’re carrying a raw egg! :)

The extra memory is a huge plus. The always on screen is nice for a quick look at the time, but comes with a cost. After a day of use, I’m down to 20% battery. My Apple Watch 4 would still have 70%! So of course it takes much longer to get a full charge. I wear my watch overnight for the sleep app. It drains overnight 10-15%. My 4 used 1-2% overnight. It’s nice but I’m not impressed.

love it. Pros - lots of apps;good distance. I have the one w/o cellular because I always have my phone. I could leave phone in house, go outside, still text. I walk around house away from phone and still answer calls. Easy to read msgs. Con: Band sweats and if you wear watch on left hand you constantly hit the side button for siri.

I have used samsung galaxy watch before but apple watch series 5 is the best compatible watch for IPhones. It’s worth upgrading from series 3 to 5 with big battery, 44 mm display and of course ECG.

First ever Apple Watch owned. Looks and feels amazing on your wrist. However it is so easy to get scratched in the sides. There are cases you could buy but I feel like the point is to show it off as it is. Not too bothered by it though but might annoy people that pay attention to detail. Screen is big and bright. Battery life lasts all day even up to 2 days with screen always on and without charging. Charges fast. Overall great product.

The watch band broke the second day I had it (there are tiny springs that are in the latching mechanism, and one fell apart). I took it to the Apple Store and they (with some difficulty) replaced the band under the 1 year factory warranty. A couple of other negatives, I can't use the watch to control the volume level of my Bluetooth speaker (or atleast not that I've found), and on one app, it "sticks/lags". When I first bought it, I wasn't sure if I'd wasted my money or not, but the longer I've had it, the more I like it. It is AMAZING what that little watch can do! It is WATER PROOF and I wear it in the shower, where I can use it to control the music playing on my Bluetooth speaker. Handy! If I leave my cellphone in another room and a call comes in, I can decline the call from the watch (or take the call and talk using the watch). It records calorie burns when I work out, and has allowed me to know more about my health through the heartbeat monitor, the ECG recorder, and the activity and sleep apps. I had to go to the hospital lately, and they asked me if my heartbeat was always slow. I could definitively tell them yes, due to what I knew from wearing the Apple Watch! I purchased this watch at Best Buy (as opposed to the Apple Store that is right across the street) because I could get 12 month financing on the Best Buy card that I already had/have. The only downside to that was I could only choose one watch band, where at the brick and mortar Apple Store, you can select from many for the same price. However, I have bought an aftermarket watch band anyway that offers way more protection to the watch (like when working out or working on my house). Overall, this watch was a GREAT value. I would recommend it.

Overall good watch I don’t know what the hoopla is about it I’m gonna cost a lot of money just to monitor your heart rate and when you’re walking riding a bike just keeping up with everything you do just like the phone I could’ve just put an app on my phone it came out better and kept my money also when I purchase this watch I was supposed to get a $15 rebate I didn’t get anything they lied nothing so I’m not too happy about that part is this coronavirus is rampant everybody acts like they can’t return phone calls can’t answer the phone you can’t go in a store it’s like ridiculous but they’re still taking your money what a waste what a joke.Overall good watch I don’t know what the hoop lies about it I’m gonna cost a lot of money I’m just monitor your heart rate and I want you walking riding a bike just keeping up with everything you do just like the phone I could’ve just put an app on my phone I came out better and kept my money also when I purchase this watch I was supposed to get a $15 rebate I didn’t get anything they lied nothing so I’m not too happy about that part is this coronavirus is rampant everybody acts like they can’t return phone calls can’t answer a phone you can go in a store is like ridiculous but there still taking your money what a waste what a joke. I bought this Apple Watch after a short hospital stay. i wanted something to help track my diet, meds, activity, and heart. The watch itself does very well at the last two. However, the other two require third party apps, and that has been a less than satisfying result. There is no app designed to involve the watch in tracking meds. At all. There are a few apps that involve the watch in tracking diet, but they are whole-health trackers that include activity and other things like mindfulness, sleep, etc., that complicate usage. If find those pretty kludgy, inconvenient. That said, I've found other Apple Watch functions surprisingly useful. It answers the phone and makes calls without taking out my phone. It displays ToDo lists. It plays audio from my phone. It's a calculator. It displays my calendar and sounds reminders. Those functions a built into the watch. It would have never occurred to me to buy a smart watch to use any of them. They seemed so frivolous, but now they seem quite nice to have. So to summarize, the watch does quite well at the things it was designed for, and less well at things other companies have tried to add on.

    Good Watch But Expensive

The watch seems very similar to the old Apple watch that I have the Series 2. I purchased this watch for my husband for father's day because he had been wanting an Apple Watch for some time. To me it really has the same features as many of the older model watches so I am grateful that I purchased it while it was on sale. One thing is that my husband is likely allergic to whatever the band is made of because his wrist had a really bad reaction after he wore it for a few days so we have to get a new band, but other than that the watch is fine and it works perfectly fine. For anyone who likes Apple products you should add an Apple Watch to your list of products to have. Me personally, I have a MacBook, IPAD, Watch, and iPhone and they all work together so that is why I continue to purchase Apple Products. Plus I think that Apple has great customer service. Overall good watch little pricey, so I think if you are considering price your can be just as good purchasing one of the older models as well.

Alert is great, and even plays signmail from my company’s app ‘ntouch’, but I wish it would also play YoTube and mlb baseball games. Helps monitor some health issues, too, but the good ones need to be purchased It’s very expensive just for the watch itself, which is a negative
