Will not honor sale price when exchanging

The recipients wanted different colors of the same watch. My original sale price was NOT honored. I exchanged one and had to pay the difference and returned the other. Bought it at the apple store. I will no longer buy gifts that I cannot exchange for the original price at Best Buy. The product is amazing though as Apple always delivers.
