An upgrade from my series 3

I have a problem with the watch counting my steps accurately. If I go running and run for over 2 miles, my step count will only read at 500-700 steps. I am 5’ 3” with a short stride. I will exaggerate my arm swing with running and that still doesn’t help.i have changed my settings on the watch and it dies pretty quickly. I am mostly at home and don’t use my watch much for additional apps other than texting and occasionally taking a call. The band is weird and the 3rd hole is too loose but the 4th is too tight so I have been looking for a new band, I just have yet to get one. Otherwise I do truly like the watch. I love that it tracks sleep although I still prefer the Fitbit over the Apple Watch in terms of sleep tracking.
