    Annoying bug! Green/Gray tint on the screen!

    Shortly after I purchased this watch (in May 2023) I have had issues with the screen having discoloration issues. The screen looks gray instead of black and the screen has a green faded tint that's heavier in color along the edges that fades inwards/across the screen. Sometimes it shows up worse than other days too. Mostly only appears when the watch is locked and asking for the code, in the control panel and in the notifications screen. That's about half the watches display functions we as users look at throughout the day, so it's pretty annoying considering the price of these things. Everything I've researched on the issue claims to be a bug issue from the latest update to watchOS 9.5? My boyfriend has the 45mm s8 with watchOS 9.5 installed though (sidenote: we purchased our watches together on the same day) and he has no issues. So I'm unsure if it's just an issue for some of the 41mm watches or what... but either way, for me, I'm unimpressed because if it's apparently a known software issue then why not fix it? Other than that though, it's a convenient accessory to my iphone.

    Item was showing significant sign of use and the pickup employee didn't allow for me to look at the available inventory to pick out one in a better condition.

    Always Check An Open Box "Excellent" Item!

    The Best Buy website states that: "Open-Box Excellent" "Products in Excellent condition look brand new — with no physical flaws, scratches or scuffs — and include all original parts." "The product will be in its original packaging or a suitable replacement box." I have purchased "Open-Box Excellent" items from Best Buy. For the most part they have been good purchases. On occasion though they have been very disappointing. This was the most disappointing one. I wanted to purchase a Series 8 watch to pair with my iPhone 13 but there were no sales so I decided to give an "Open-Box Excellent" quality one a try. I made my purchase on line and waited for the notification before driving to the Best Buy to pick the watch up. Because of previous experiences with "Open-Box Excellent" items and the condition of the box that was presented to me, I asked the customer service person to open the so we could check the watch before I left the store. It was good that I did. The boxes (watch and band) looked like the previous owner had crushed them while trying to open them. They were dirty and torn around the edges and held together with tape. The watch body had some sort of white substance (I really hope it was paint) smeared into all of the seams and the watch face had three large scratches in it. I told the CSR that I did not want this purchase and was told I would need to returns to take care of that. The return took about 35 minutes so I ended up wasting about an hour and a half if you include drive time. There are four Best Buys within range of my home and I have found that one does not seem to care about how returned items are graded while one does an excellent job. I no longer purchase anything from the former. It is disappointing that the grading system cannot be trusted. To keep from wasting time I would highly recommend checking any "Open-Box" item before you leave the store. The Series 8 went on sale the next day and I purchased one for the same price as the open box one - at the Best Buy with the better quality control.

    When I got the package from fedex, I noticed that it was of no weight, damaged and fixed with tape. So I told the fedex employee, that he should open the package together with me-and it was empty!!! He confirmed that on a paper and with that I went to the next bestbuy store to claim that. The staff there was weary helpfull and called the support line for me ( I had the broken package and the fedex letter with me). The information I got was that I can get to another bestbuy store in Chicago which had the same watch on stock…so I went there only to be told that it would take some days until I can get it. As I am from Italy and in Chicago just for some days, another service agent then told me, that I can do the refund and that will be done within 2 weeks….now we passed the 2 years!!!!!, I had servers chats with agents and was always only told, you are still working on it….this is unacceptable. Can I have a final answer, do I get the refund or not? Then I will take further action. Regards, Doris

    Was said to be open box excellent condition to come with all original parts and packaging. Came in a week late and it just came in bubble wrap. Also came locked to previous owner and they are getting my location sent to them. Best Buy is supposed to check that before reselling. They then told me I would have to go to a store to get it fixed. The nearest store is 45 minutes away which is why I ordered. Also they are not open when I get to work so that’s not an option. Hopefully Apple accepts the ticket I submitted or I will have to return. Definitely not buying apple products from bestbuy again. I will be buying straight from Apple.

    Horrible! Purchase useless as watch was pre-owned and never disconnected from previous user’s account. Jumped through many, many hurdles and hoops to try to get situation resolved with both Best Buy and Apple to no avail. Product is boxed in my junk drawer and purchase accruing interest as it was charged to credit card. Best Buy would not accept return nor give me credit for useless item. BEWARE!!! Never purchase pre-owned.

    The watch itself was fine but the employees gave me a poor experience. I had to tell them they gave me the wrong watch. But since they already scanned the package (that they failed to check) so I had to come back an hour later since they cannot do a return within the hour. Then when I get there an hour later (when the store is 30 minutes from my house) the worker simply just switch the package for the right one. Complete waste of my day.

    I have not been using the device for even a week and it has already failed, the use was normal and it has already stopped giving the oxygen parameters in the blood in addition to any information about the heart. a total disappointment

    This watch has been nothing but trouble, IRS beautiful ; however obviously there is an unusual problem in the manufacturing. I have the watch under both Apple and Best Buy insurance production but they won’t replace lace it or approve. I’ve never had trouble befor and it is quite disappointing

    Tired of Apple changing the charging ports and blocks on every product and not supplying the one you need w/ purchase. Seriously?! They need MORE MONEY?! Their products are too expensive already, will return and buy something that comes complete for less money and does same thing.

    Terrible product. Can not track when I’m walking. Fifteen minutes into my walk, it asks if I’m walking or not. It does not recognize when I stop walking. 50mins after being sedentary, it asks if I’m done walking outside!

    I have been a Fitbit fan for over 10 years. I thought I would love the Apple Watch because everyone had it. I did like that I could text from the watch, some of the features were nice, but the battery life was awful!!! Less than a day…no thank you, back to Fitbit!!!
