I was a samsung user for the longest time and had a Samsung 5 pro watch, but decided to switch to the “dark side” and got an Apple Phone and Watch and could not be happier. The watch works seamlessly with the phone. The work out features are so much easier to manage and the watch faces are much better right out of the box.

The Series 8 continues the improvement in the Apple Watch that brings more benefits for the consumer. The health information and crash detection alone are reasons to upgrade. I find the Series 8 provides both accurate time and a sense of security, welcome additions.

For those who want to have the blood oxygen monitor on their watch, choose to buy this one - it's also still strong after a year.

The battery life on this watch seems to be slightly better than previous models. I will say the fast charging ability it has is very convenient especially when you want to use the full capability of the watch. The sleep tracking technology is very nice as well. The data it tracks is a big help when trying to improve sleep habits. Also, the noise level detection is a nice feature and it will alert you when you reach levels that are damaging to your hearing.

Battery life isn’t very good. Needs to be charged everyday so any 2 day camping or hiking loops are out of the question unless you’re in a lodge or cabin electricity. I have tattoos on wrist and it causes my workouts to constantly pause… very annoying. Metrics on iPhone fitness app are really good so that’s cool. It’s ok for daily use but kind of expensive because the battery only lasts for 2 to 3 years. If I had to do it over again I would of bought a high end Garmin just for battery life alone.

This watch works great and the health apps actually saved my life when I developed A-fib. I highly recommend it.

Love my watch! Use it for golf, gym, sleep stats, and many other things. I had the original Apple Watch and didn't think I got much for the money. This is my first one since then - what a difference! I did buy a sport watch (from Apple), which is much more comfortable that the one in the box.

I love my Apple Watch, have had them since they came out. You can do so much with them, ie sports apps, health apps etc

I delayed upgrading my series 3 watch for years, thinking, “How different can they really be?” After buying the series 8… “A lot!” The quick charge alone is worth it! As well as more space, more dials to choose from, and more apps! And I’m still learning more about its functions. Great watch!

Got it for my husband for christmas & he loves it.

Got this primarily to monitor health. has alot of small features that mesh with the iphone that are nice too.
