When I purchased it, there was a new update almost immediately. I'm not sure if that has anything to do with it, but I keep procrastinating to call Apple Care to help me troubleshoot. Other than that, I love it !

I love my Apple watch!

I am constantly receiving texts for work and love being able to view the texts without having to have my phone in my hand. I also like being able to track steps and workouts.

Big Upgrade

I went to a Garmin and a COROS for a little bit, and this is a huge upgrade. It’s missing some of the functionality I had with the more fitness focused watches, but you can’t beat an Apple Watch. I needed to be able to see and respond to text messages and emails from my watch, and I couldn’t do that with my garmin or COROS

Battery life is decent unless I use it alot. Being able to read text messages and reply some short ones is what made me get the watch, my previous version is the 3 so it is a big jump.

Wish the battery life was longer.

My Gen 4 finally let water in and was wigging it out until it fully dried out and worked again. I passed it on to my youngest son and got this 8th gen. The only other gripe would be battery life is no where near as good as other brands. BUT - it charges in almost no time. A car drive to work and it's good for the day.
