I bought to replace an Apple Watch 4. Most impressed with the updated health apps. I also like the extended battery life. I really need the fall detection function. The old watch sat on the charger too much. Often ignored function it is worth getting an Apple Watch. Living alone with health issues it’s certainly cheaper than having to put in a wired phone connection for the dedicated fall alert systems that require a monthly subscription and confines you to your residence. As long as your phone is near and connected it automatically alerts emergency services to your GPS location and as a bonus dials family and friends to alert them. I’m surprised Apple doesn’t advertise this feature more. I recommend this to friends with elderly parents. Apple Watch 4 and up has this feature. The watch 8 has temperature and updated EKG also.

Larger screen size than my previous 43MM. Easier to see. Quite a change from my Series 2 to Series 8. Use my GPS daily while running. Battery life is much better even with the digits on all the time than previous Iwatch.

Great battery life, amazing features that are easy to learn and use!!

I was never really an apple person but the main reason for getting was the health tracking. to some it seems weird, but people like me who have a weird type of epilepsy it helps me keep track of some of my body activity. it seems accurate enough and helps me also keep track of my sleep and the different cycles. there a ton of other cool features like spotify remote and i think it even has storage for music and so on but i only stream from my phone, its super convenient. i'm a pretty big dude but the 45mm version doesn't give me any issues even with my banana grove hands. overall a good watch, only have to charge it about once a day but keep in mind that all of my tracking is always on and am using it throughout the day to view texts or news.

This is a fantastic watch the 45mm screen is easier to see and the watch is easy to use. I love all the information you can get, sleep tracker. Weather. Health. Fitness. And much more. Thanks again Apple. You never disappoint

I upgraded from a series 2, and this watch is amazing. I love the larger screen and the ease of use. The battery lasts about 40 -48 hours between charges. I love the health data it provides and its seamless use with my iPhone.

I am extremely happy with my Apple Watch. It helps me monitor my health issues and allows me to focus on areas of concern. Being over the age of 75 and not especially “techy “ I found it was really user friendly and was surprised at the ease of setting it up. I like that I can read my messages without having to reach for my iPhone. It is easy to access the “apps” that I use frequently . Surprisingly it charges fast and the battery life is exceptional. Most definitely, without hesitation, I would recommend this watch to anyone. ‘

I Love this watch! It does everything I want and more. Great for tracking fitness! The quality is phenomenal and it charging exceptionally fast. Would definitely recommend.

I don't really see a difference between the others...I came from a 6. Besides the bigger screen difference and the battery lasting a bit longer. It does have some more features though which I like. It's a LOT lighter though than pictured. Also...be cautious of your battery for the first couple days you get it, 2 days after I got mine it stopped charging...but Best Buy made it right and it's great.

I haven’t worn a watch in forever, much less a smart one, knew about them, just figured why get one, on this year I decided why not and got the series 8 GPS only as it was on sale, got to say this is best smart watch you never thought you needed, apple phone was already the easiest to use but with the watch even easier to use the features you use everyday, texts( notifications and sending), phone calls (crystal clear and loud, I got the GPS ONLY but it still makes and receives calls when phone is close and was cheaper with same features) When you use apple maps, the watch vibrates and dings to let you know in advance about the next turn and shows the direction if you need a quick glance, much more useful than you think, really like this feature, heart rate is decently accurate for working out, if you want very accurate, the chest strap monitors are the best but this works for a very close reliable ballpark number, weather at a glance depending on the watch face used, fitness rings to motivate you, rings close when you complete certain activities, can be turned off but i’ve tried them and they do motivate you, gives you something to root for, free and paid app faces available, Ex: I have weather, texts, heart rate, blood oxygen level, date/time, texts and battery level on my watch face, these are the most convenient features that I use everyday, there are more but these are the ones I really use most ,without having to reach for my phone really is great. Battery life is in my opinion very good, 100% charge easily lasts all day with moderate use, texting mostly, charged super fast, so I usually tip it off if there’s a free minutes, charged very fast. I keep the screen brightness at half which is bright for me in everyday use out or indoors, haven’t had issues (not angling my watch in direct sunlight but everyday normal angles can see perfectly even from waist height) Definitely recommend

I just love my watch. Very simple to use and has such amazing great features. I like the fact that it has so much more in the health field to keep track of things. It’s also extremely comfortable. It was shipped to me by Best Buy and came very quickly, and in perfect shape very much over from an extremely old first edition watch that I had. I thought the battery life would be a little longer as they try to sleep with it every night to check my sleep patterns. If you do that pretty much won’t last 24 hours.
