It seems to have a longer life. I do like that the screen is just a bit larger helps out with my big finger tips

The Apple Watch Series 8 45mm is a very good smart watch. It has had great battey life from my experience and that is with having the always on display on. I also have noticed that it has a much better apple selection than my Samsung Galaxy Watch Active 2 that i had before my Series 8. Over all would highly recommend it if you have an iPhone 8/iPhone X or later because those are the oldest iPhones that the Apple Watch Series 8 supports. I really enjoy the amazing technology at my side with my Apple Watch Series 8. I really like the ability to screen calls without having to pull out my phone. If necessary, I can answer a call on my watch when I am busy with my hands. I use many of the health monitoring feature as well. I can also track text messages without being obvious about looking at my phone. This device is much more than just another smart watch.

Fits comfortably, does everything as advertised. Fun to keep track of move and fitness goals. Just be prepared to charge every night (which isn’t a big deal to me personally). I wear it every day and use it for indoor workouts and even hikes. Though it has been fairly durable so far, I’d recommend getting a case for the watch face itself if you can be a bit clumsy. I don’t have a case but the screen seems pretty tough when I accidentally hit it against something.

I had an Apple Watch 3. Now I have an 8. It’s 5 times better. I enjoy this watch. It keeps my wrist warm and reminds me when to standup. It also fat shames me when I don’t do a lot of movements. I know it only trying to make me better but sometimes you just don’t want to exercise. Great buy!

This is the second Apple Watch I have owned, the first was the Series 5. I was skeptical about upgrading my watch because I was not sure it was necessary based on how I use my watch, but at last the battery on my series 5 was draining too fast and my hand was forced. After upgrading, I am pleasantly surprised at how much better the Series 8 watch is! From the bigger screen size to the faster processing speed, it is all I could ask for in a smart watch and then some.
