    Good addition for many reasons

I originally got the 41mm, and switched to the 45mm because I needed the larger screen. This watch is so versatile, and has so many features, it is unreal. The main health issues that it monitors are my reason for buying it, but the other utilities (or complications as they call them) are myriad and very helpful. Just takes time to get used to the process and find everything you need (or want). Heart, ECG, blood oxygen, timers, weather, steps, you name it.

    I'm an Apple watch convert

I'm a bit of a watch snob. I have several high end mechanical watches and thusly, have avoided the Apple Watch hype since it was first introduced. I got a few gift cards for Christmas and decided to try it out. Right off the bat I noticed that it was a lot more comfortable than the Garmin Fenix 5 I use for activity tracking. The screen is a nice size and easy to read while I'm riding my bike. Once I got it configured to my activity tracking apps, I found it very responsive and very accurate. The heart rate is very close to my chest strap monitor and the GPS it spot on. I was able to get it before the Pulse Ox was disabled. It's a useful feature, especially to help calculate VO2 Max. Hopefully Apple will get that issue sorted out. When I'm working from home, it's become my daily watch. I wear it through the night for sleep tracking and just keep it on. I usually don't wear it if I'm going into the office or out at night since I have a stable of nicer watches for that. The only downside for me is the battery life. The first few weeks I ran it "always on" and was lucky to get 24 hours before it needed charged. I changed the setting to come on only when I raise my arm and that stretched the battery out to a little over two days. It does charge very quickly. Usually, I'll put in on the charger after I wake up. I hop in the shower and by the time I'm done, it's up to at least 80%. I can live with it. I would say it has replaced my Garmin for everything except mountain biking. I don't feel that the Apple watch is rugged enough to handle a crash. But other than that, it has become my go to tracking device.

I recently upgraded from the Series 6 to the Apple Watch Series 9 and I’m seriously impressed. The new S9 chip makes everything super smooth and snappy — apps open instantly, and Siri feels faster than ever. I use it mostly for fitness tracking and messages, and the new double tap gesture is a game changer when my hands are full. Battery life is solid — I get through the whole day with plenty to spare. The midnight aluminum case looks sleek and modern, and the sport band is super comfortable for all-day wear. Blood Oxygen tracking works great, especially during workouts or while sleeping. If you're on the fence about upgrading, go for it — it feels like a big leap in usability and performance. Highly recommended!

I’ve had my Apple Watch Series 9 for a little while now, and honestly—I’m in love. It’s sleek, smart, and feels like it was designed just for me. The first thing I noticed? The battery life. Compared to my previous watches, this one goes the extra mile—literally. No more mid-day charging panic! What really makes it shine is how it keeps me moving. The step tracking is spot-on, and those gentle nudges to stand or close my rings? Surprisingly motivating. The workout options are fantastic—whether I’m walking, swimming, or trying something new, it’s got me covered. Plus, the Activity app turns fitness into a game I actually want to win. The other feature I enjoy is the Blood Oxygen monitor! I find it interesting to see where I am at with my levels at any given time. In short, the Series 9 isn’t just a watch—it’s my personal cheerleader, coach, and timekeeper all rolled into one. If you’re on the fence, hop off and grab one.

The Apple Watch Series 9 marks another leap forward in the realm of wearable technology, reaffirming Apple's prowess in marrying functionality with style. As a user of this latest iteration, I find it to be an exceptional blend of health features, connectivity, and design finesse. Design and Display: The Series 9 retains the classic, sleek design of its predecessors, making it both stylish and comfortable to wear all day. The display is noticeably brighter and more vivid, making it easy to read even under direct sunlight. The always-on feature is a game-changer, allowing for quick glances without the need to raise the wrist or tap the screen. Health and Fitness Tracking: The health and fitness tracking capabilities of the Series 9 are, without a doubt, its standout features. The accuracy of the heart rate monitor and the addition of new sensors for blood oxygen and ECG readings underscore Apple's commitment to health-centric technology. The fitness tracking is comprehensive, covering a wide range of activities and providing insightful data that encourages a healthier lifestyle. Battery Life and Performance: The battery life has seen a noticeable improvement, comfortably lasting through a day and a half of regular use, which includes workout tracking, notifications, and occasional calls. The performance is seamless and responsive, thanks to the upgraded processor. Apps load quickly, and transitions are smooth, enhancing the overall user experience. Connectivity and Features: The Series 9 excels in connectivity, maintaining a stable and quick connection with the iPhone. The addition of LTE options in some models means you can leave your phone behind and still remain connected, which is a significant plus for those who like to travel light during workouts. The watchOS brings new watch faces and customization options, making it more personal and versatile. Areas for Improvement: While the Apple Watch Series 9 is a marvel, there is room for improvement. The sleep tracking, while improved, still lags behind other dedicated fitness devices. Also, for those looking for major aesthetic changes, the design remains largely similar to previous models, which might be a drawback for some.

The Apple Watch is one of the most polished and versatile smartwatches available. It combines sleek design, strong build quality, and a seamless integration with the iPhone. Its strengths include: Health & Fitness: Accurate heart-rate monitoring, ECG, sleep tracking, and activity rings that keep users engaged. Smart Features: Quick notifications, calls, Apple Pay, and Siri make it a true wrist companion. Design & Comfort: Lightweight, customizable with bands, and comes in multiple sizes and finishes. Performance: Fast, smooth, and continually updated with new features via watchOS. The downsides are battery life (typically 1–2 days) and reliance on an iPhone (not ideal for Android users). Verdict: If you own an iPhone and want a powerful mix of fitness tracking, health features, and smart connectivity, the Apple Watch is hard to beat.

Such a nice accessory to add to your daily wear. good for checking your time without pulling out your phone from pocket or purse. You can check messages on your watch instead of your phone while driving and not get penalized by your insurance app. Good for working out and keeping track of how well you wash your hands.

Nice watch if you're in the Apple eco system. Setup is easy, everything just kind of shows up and works as you'd expect. If you need to reset, that's just as easy, pair with your phone again and all data just goes back on if you'd like. The alarm functionality I like a lot better than with the phone. It's a gentle and unjarring wake up, sometimes too gentle. Changing watch bands can be difficult, but luckily I haven't dialed emergency services yet. If you hold the side button (not the crown) it brings up SOS and often times I'll end up holding that button while trying to get the band unhooked. Press the button again and it goes away. The screen does scratch pretty easy. I got some cheap covers from Amazon that work good enough I use at work. It does however hold up quite well. It ended up sliding across the asphalt maybe 20 feet, and while its got a ton of micro scratches, and it did crack under the top layer, it's still been very functional. If you're prone to knocking it around and wanting to wear it while doing physical work, I'd suggest the Apple care. I've noticed that after having this watch for 11 months as of this writing, the silicone band does stretch over time. Mildly annoying as for my wrist the 3rd hole from the inside of the band was snug enough but not too snug. The second hole was very snug. As of late the third hole is now quite loose and it will often times think I've taken it off and lock. The second hole is still a little snug, but I've come to accept it for now as having to unlock the watch all the time was getting old. My battery life has been superb. Always on display, I get a good days of charge. I charge at night while showering and put back on before bed for sleep tracking/alarm in the morning. Wear all day and can usually finish the day, 24 hours from when it last when on the charger with 10-20% remaining. I've yet to have to charge mid day before when I typically charge. I work as a delivery driver, so frequently moving around throughout the day. Battery health says 97% yet. With all that said, good buy, and now with the 10 out, if you can snag a new 9 on discount, it's a fantastic buy.
