Best Buy has a huge internal problem where its own employees are stealing from shipments to customers. In short, I purchased an Ultra watch, and after waiting a couple of weeks for it to arrive, the box had no watch, only the bracelet. I immediately took the packaging to the local store and reported. They then advised me to call corporate, which I did, and the Customer Service Rep opened a case so that this could be used to process a credit. I kept calling every so often to check the status. Every time I called I got a different CSR, which added something else to the case that the previous CSR didn't do. I called today again, and to my surprise, they told me that they have not processed the credit because I had not file a police report, and therefore the police had not concluded on what happened. At this point, I had to remind the person at the other end of the phone, that the watch was not stolen from me, but it was stolen from them somewhere within the logistics workflow. How else can you explain that I received an untampered box, with the seals with no sign of being tampered with? There's only one answered, the stealing happened before sealing the box, thus, this type of theft it can only be internal, in fact, I asked the first CSR that I spoke to if my case was an isolated issue to which he responded that it was not, that they have had this problem for a while and that even had caught some of their internal staff in the act, there are even videos in youtube that have captured these thieves in the act, so bottom line, how is this my issue and not BB's? I'm willing and ready to pursue this till I get my hard earned money back.
