I purchased this a Christmas present for my husband but it wont pair with his phone. Instead of the animation, the screen shows a QR code of some unknown app. I started to do an online search about the issue. i found out more things that lead me to a conclusion was it was a counterfeit. There were misspelled words in setting such as PASSWARD for password and MODE instead of model #. The back of the watch does not have the Apple logo and the word watch was written as WATGH. The watch face looks similar as the original but when you inspect closely, the holes for the microphone , water temperature sensor/depth and the speaker only have divets. The antenna line is also missing. I also verified with the Apple website but the serial number cannot be identified. I then called the Apple customer service to report the issue. They were surprised to learn that I got the product from BestBuy. What’s more shocking is that when we returned it to Bestbuy, they didn’t seem surprised when we said “this one is a counterfeit “. I am extremely upset as not only I was embarrassed for gifting a “fake watch” but it totally ruined the Christmas morning experience in my family. for the record: BestBuy replaced the item but Im just totally unhappy with the experience. Review made is for the experience and not for the Apple product.

I’ve been using the Apple Watch Ultra 2 for a few weeks now, and it’s easily the most capable Apple Watch I’ve owned. The titanium case feels premium and extremely durable, and the Navy Ocean Band is comfortable for all-day wear, workouts, and even swimming. The display is incredibly bright and easy to read outdoors, which makes a big difference during runs and hikes. GPS accuracy has been excellent, battery life is noticeably better than previous Apple Watches, and I comfortably get close to two days with normal use. The cellular feature is a huge plus—I can leave my phone behind and still stay connected. Health and fitness tracking are top-notch, as expected from Apple. Heart rate, workouts, sleep tracking, and notifications are all accurate and seamless. The Action Button is surprisingly useful for quick access to workouts and timers. Overall, this is a fantastic choice if you’re into fitness, outdoor activities, or just want a powerful, rugged smartwatch with premium build quality. It’s definitely on the expensive side, but the performance, durability, and features justify the price. Highly recommended.

Bought this because Best Buy had it on sale compared to the main Apple website or going through AT&T and the cost of the Ultra 3. ($300 more). I upgraded from a Watch SE so this definitely has more metrics, though a bit heavier. I'm probably not the best person for the review as I still just use it to measure my workouts etc. The battery life is significantly better, and the action button lets you go directly to the exercise options. I think I've used to EKG/ECG thing once so it's not a big deal for me. I do like that this larger screen I have the option of a keyboard for responding to texts w/o using voice dictation (I'm old). I will say if buying an unlocked version and adding it to a pre-existing phone account (I'm ATT/Firstnet and "upgraded" my watch"), make sure your cellular provider adds the IMEI# and the ICCID# when adding to your account. At no fault of Best Buy, it took 10 days to get the cellular service activated because both Serial numbers were not added correctly. Overall, I think it's worth it compared to the extra $300 for an Ultra 3.

I just picked up my watch today. But when I opened it after I got home, there is neither watch nor watchband in the box. All are sealed and there was no clue of those in the box. I paid over $700 which is a new price for this and I want to know if you guys give me some returned ones.

Impressed by the screen and improved performance. Battery life is improved and I really like the ocean band, too. Quite comfortable. The watch works so well I am considering complimenting the experience by enabling the cellular capabilities. Great watch!

I’m extremely happy with this purchase. Based on my experience of owning Apple Watches for 7–8 years before upgrading, the Ultra 2 feels like a smart long-term expensive yet worthy investment. I saved money by choosing a previous-generation model while still staying current with Apple’s latest updates and technology. The battery life has been outstanding — I’m consistently getting around 40–44 hours, something I’ve never experienced with my earlier Apple Watch models. Despite the titanium build, the watch doesn’t feel bulky on my wrist and remains very comfortable for all-day wear. The only downside is the Ocean Band. It’s not always user-friendly, as tucking the extra band into the retention ring between the grooves takes a bit of extra time and effort each time I put it on. Overall, I would wholeheartedly recommend the Apple Watch Ultra 2 to anyone considering an Apple Watch this year, especially if you’re looking for durability, excellent battery life, and long-term value
