Coming from a Garmin Fenix 6 If you are trying to decided on a garmin or the ultra 2, this is the review for you. Get the ultra 2 if: - you can handle charging your watch for an hour every ~30 hiues - want to answer calls - want to text - want your image notifications to show on your watch - want a great heart rate sensor - want to see if you have sleep apnea - want to track your heart beat rhythm - want to be able to control your camera on your phone - want to control your smart home - want a variety of apps to chose from - want to be more integrated with your apple products - want wireless charging - want ECG sensor - don’t want to rely on a third party app Get the garmin if: - want more than 5 days of battery - want a true sports watch - want better GPS’ - want a more interactive Home Screen - want to constantly watch your heart rate change vs interval updates like the Apple Watch - want a more interactive built-in fitness app; example rest timers and the ability to count reps - you can answer call and text if you have an android - certain gamins have ECG - want a rugged look - want a circular face I love the fitness app and the battery life on the fenix 6. But the charging is very quick on the Apple Watch, and I learned to configure my watch to have it similar to the garmin fitness app. At the end of the day, I’m working out for 2-3 hours a day, but using my watch like a smart phone the rest of the day. Garmin fenix 8 is a $1000+ watch. I rather not spend more.

I was waiting for the black and they finally released it! I love the larger screen and durability. One negative is I wish I could disable the action button or opposite side button. I’m always pressing the side closest to my hand. Currently, I have the crown side towards my hands so it just continuously activates Siri. She. I had the orientation flipped it would always be I. Flashlight mode.

Not as big as i thought and no more worries about the battery dying while im at work. Im gone around 17hrs a day when working and my Series 7 began dying at work. Was gonna get a 9, but got the Ultra2 instead. Zero regrets. If the battery lasts 3 years, it was worth it.

The Ultra 2 has a great battery life! I can go up to two-three days without having to charge it. Another thing i like is that its very durable I’ve already bumped it against the walls/ counters and it still looks brand new.

This was an upgrade from the larger Apple Watch series 6 for me. Love the size of the watch even though I thought it may be too large, but its not. The screen is very easy to read and the extra watch faces look great on it. The added battery life is wonderful although I have a 2nd 6th gen I sleep with to do sleep tracking. I dont need the 2nd watch since this watch is not as bulky as I thought for sleeping with. I thought about buying a Omega Speedmaster for about $7,000 but I doubt I would wear it often so thanks to this watch I dont have the desire anymore for the Omega at this time.

After a week I am so glad I upgraded! Battery life is amazing. I have only charged while in the shower and it has never dropped below 70%. Love the bigger screen and a nice Velcro band that actually works!

I recently purchased the Apple Watch Ultra 2, and I’m really impressed with its fitness tracking capabilities and stylish design. So glad I upgraded to this version of the apple watch. It feels more durable than the last one I had. So far it has survived my job where I work a lot with my hands. I'd recommend this version to anyone looking to get a smart watch.

Beautiful upgrade from my Apple Watch Series 3 - I love the upscaled appearance - a few nicer watch face options and battery life so far, all a plus! Durability seems to be on par with my expectations - the black DLC coating looks great, and the actual sapphire crystal screen and back provide added durability and make the need for a screen protector less of a necessity and more of a want, if you feel you need the added protection. I have yet to make the decision to get a screen/case protector. I purchased this as "open box excellent - Sept. 2024 model" from Best Buy and received this watch in OEM, absolutely PERFECT condition, fully functional, with USB C charging cable, and the black trail loop, all appearing to have never been removed from the box. Upon arrival and power up - the watch updated and connected immediately, and flawlessly to my iPhone - Open box allowed me to save money (over $100) and still be able to purchase (which I did) the 2 year apple care for $99 from Apple. Win - Win !!

Watch has a great battery life. Last 2.5 to 3 full days at a time with never really taking it off. The screen size is very nice. This is my first Apple Watch though so I cant compare to other screen sizes. I greatly enjoy the metrics I get from sleep statistics and vitals to show me how I am health wise.

This watch is perfect! I love the variety of complications that can be added to the face. I thought it might be bulky on my wrist but it doesn’t look too big at all. I charge it for the short time I spend showering and getting ready for work each day and that maintains the battery well enough to be able to track my sleep, which is nice. I swear Apple has thought of everything. Disappointed the double tap feature doesn’t work yet…looking forward to the update when that is added. Very happy with my purchase.

Great all around watch! Love the hiking capabilities on this thing! Took to Yosemite recently and lasted the whole trip on one charge. Even when using fitness tracking the battery and screen bested the hike up towards El Capitan with ease. Love what Apple has done with this watch.

The larger screen allows for more informative complications. The battery life is so much better for how I use my Apple Watch. The Action button is very useful for my training sessions. Other features offer peace of mind in emergency situations I hope never come to pass. Build quality is solid. I expect it to last a few years. The Apple Watch is easier to set up than in past years thanks to Apple’s protocol for replacements and upgrades. No real complaints.

The design of the watch is amazing. Very sturdy and I love the bug screen.

I upgraded from an Apple Watch Series 5 and the battery is amazing. I also really enjoy the fact that it’s very rugged and tough compared to my old watch which got very scratched over time. I really enjoy the peace of mind that this watch gives me. I have to get used to the fact that I wear this watch nonstop because of the great battery life. With my old watch i had to charge every day as soon as I got home from work. Very happy with this purchase.
