This situation could not have been handled any more poorly. It began with the initial installation and attempted removal of the old appliances. First, the installation of the washer was not completed because of some kind of supposed corrosion issue. Second, the appliance removal was not completed because the dryer was too big to fit through a doorway that had been remodeled some years ago. And third, the credit for the removal, which the technician assured me would be adjusted on my statement immediately. Since I received no confirmation of the credit after several weeks, I called BB customer service. I explained the situation that had occurred with the removal and simply asked for confirmation of the credit on my account. The representative responded in shock that the removal of the second appliance had not been completed the day of installation and insisted on re-scheduling the appointment. He pointed out the reason for the failed removal was that the Geek squad was not available that day and that it was the fault of one your third party installation teams. And although, BB was forced to use this team again, reassured me that he would make sure that they were instructed to remove the dryer no matter what. Fast forward several days later to the service day. I requested AM service and was given a time window of 9:00 am - 1:00 pm. The two laborers arrived at 12:50 on, the latest time possible. At that time, they asked me what was to be done. They had received no follow up from BB customer service as to why they were there and the nature of the assignment. However, they did proceed to the basement and it sounded as though they were disassembling the dryer. Then after 15-20 minutes, one of them came up the stairs and simply handed me the phone, saying only that his supervisor wanted to speak to me. At that point, the third party supervisor informed that not only could they not perform the removal, but BB customer service knew that it was beyond their capability and was wrong to tell me otherwise. As I was venting my frustration with the supervisor for several minutes, the laborer came up again and handed me another phone.This time he had BB customer service on the line. With no real explanation as to why one of your reps had a commitment that could in no way be fulfilled, I was told my account would be credited for the $25 removal fee and, after complaining the total waste of time and my extreme frustration, was offered a whopping $25 credit. To date, a full day later I’ve only received the service credit and no confirmation of in store credit or gift certificate. So, let me sum up the experience for you. After consuming five hours of my day waiting and the dealing with BB and your clueless third party team, the results were no appliance removal, a service credit that could have been granted the week before on the phone, a phantom in store credit, and a ton of frustration. Job well done! Suffice it to say, I’m not real happy with BB. Thanks for your time.
