Unfortunately, the site survey proved to be ineffective as the agents that came by provided me with information that was incorrect. I was informed that an overhead microwave I was looking to buy would sit on top of our backsplash and still fit level. When the actual installers arrived, they disagreed with that install advice and informed me they would have to drill into the backsplash. They were obviously reluctant to do that as it could cause broader issues, for which they did not want to be liable. So, this is a case of left hand and right hand not being on the same page. It caused us to have to wait an additional two weeks. Not the end of the world, but annoying and I would be upset if I weren’t a total tech member and was charged for this level of service.

He was on time and professional. Measured everything out and was suppose to send in the measurement for an in cabinet microwave. We were to get a call from someone? to tell us which microwave and trim kit would fit. We did not get a call so we called and they had no record of our measurments. That is why I gave 3 stars.

We had our kitchen redone using Best Buy. We bought four major appliances and did all the measurements ourselves (we’ve done this before). Best Buy tech rep recommended an Appliance Site Survey to be sure everything fit and there were no surprises. Good thing, because our cooktop stove (mounted in granite) would not have fit even though the manufacturer’s specs indicated it would. When the crew came do the install, we were prepared for the extended time and site prep required for them to cut the granite and properly mount the cooktop. Appliance Site Survey made the entire installation process go smoothly.

Geek Squad installed a dish washer professionally and even installed an anti-knocking value to prevent pipe rattling. So far, so good and no problems after 9 months.

Reps came on time. Have good knowledge but didn’t have specifics of what I ordered exactly. Someone coming for site survey should have all the order details and should be measuring that appliances will fit or not. Expect better planning and process from Best Buy.

Paul was friendly, inspected our old refrigerator, checked all the measurements of the existing space for the new one that we purchased. He was very knowledgeable and felt that there would be no problem with the new one fitting in the space.

I like the microwave however I’m constantly wiping off fingerprints and streaks off the front. Also I wish the panel would light up!

The Best Buy associate was good, however he used the opportunity to sell other services which were ridiculously priced. Setting up a Phillips hue system with 5 lights for a few thousand dollars as i recollect… when i checked it later at best it would be a few hundred dollars so not sure what he was trying to sell. The installers who came to measure were not very good. I’ve had Best Buy measure the cavity for a double oven 3 times and it’s dbeen different all 3 times when i communicated this they didn’t seem too concerned. I asked if i could measure it myself and they would not oblige… so it’s not the best or most accurate service.

Person that was sent to survey my house for my dishwasher was very friendly. He said no problem. And when he came to install, he had no problem. Thank you

The guy that came to my house for the measure was really good. I had lots of questions as this will be going from a downdraft to needing an under the cabinet hood. All my questions were answered and the knowledge the guy had was great! He said Best Buy would reach out to me after his report to follow up with products that were recommended. Have still not heard from Best Buy.

Love it! Cooks so fast! 2 problems: hard to get setting right when turning the knob; got a d0 message after cleaning it and had to flip the breaker to get it working again

Replaced older version of downdraft which no longer ignited. Grates much more sunstantial than older model. Knobs also better - made of metal and not plastic.

Matthew Tito is "TOTAL OUTSTANDING!" Tito is professional, prompt, well mannered, knowledgeable and familiar with all aspects of his job. He doesn't mind explaining to you exactly what hes doing. He should definitely be a trainer. All companies should have an employee like Tito. Best Buy is very lucky to have an employee like Tito. Tito puts your mind at ease and assure you the installation will go well. I have no idea how much Tito is earning but he definitely deserves a raise! Tito, you are truly 'ONE IN A MILLION" and I will never forget the Excellent Job you did!

Had Site survey come out and confirm water line and door opening to make sure refridgerator would fit and could be installed. Site surevey team took measurements and said I could call in a few hours to confirm that the refridgerator was all set to be delivered and installed. I called as instructed and person who answered seemed unsure and after a brief hold confirmed delivery was still on schedule. I called a 2nd time to confirm that both the door opening and the waterline was all set as I know the door opening was only slightly bigger then the refridgerator. The person I spoke with put me on hold and wanted to check with the Survey team, after a long hold said they confirmed everything was going to fit and be installed. When the Delivery team arrived 2 days later they immediately said that the refridgerator could not be delevered as the door opening was to narrrow even though i was told twice and confirmed it would fit. The delivery team left with our new refridgerator and had to go back to Best Buy to get a refund. This was a ery disappointing experience, especially when I called twice and told everything was going to fit..

We were very pleased that Best Buy offers a site survey before a major appliance purchase. Excellent service by Nate and crew! They answered our questions thoroughly and we have confidence that our install will go well.

The Geek team that pre-measured my spaces and several days later installed my new fridge and my new gas oven range were on time, efficient, very helpful, careful, and addressed and resolved my questions and complications that arose with the installation in a considerate and responsible manner. I bought my appliances at Best Buy because of the great reputation of the Geek Squads and the vertical structure of the purchase, delivery, warranty, and repair system Best Buy offers. No subcontracting, so I can deal with Best Buy at every stage, while I own my appliances. I am happy to pass on that my experiences so far live up to the Best Buy reputation I read about before laying down my money.
