Our 25 yr. old Jenn Air wall oven finally needed replacing. The salesperson at Best Buy informed us of their pre-measure service and scheduled it for us. The newer ovens have slightly different dimensions from older models so we needed to know if a new one would fit. The guys showed up right on time, pulled the old oven out slightly from the cabinet and measured the cut out space. It was done quickly and professionally. We were glad this service was available and FREE!!

I really like the refrigerator but extremely unhappy with Best Buy. Will never buy an appliance from Best Buy again.

They were good but I had issues with the appliance. They were called out again and most issues were resolved.

Very important workers should wear proper PPE, Survey technician was wearing a cloth mask, technician asked me why was he coming to my house, work orders should have been given to technician, should have know why your at a customer's home.

Good quality and easy to use. I would have preferred for the burners to be hotter, but it is adequate.

The site services team was punctual, professional, clearly explained our options and space limitations. I highly recommend this service!!!

My husband and I went into the store (11/8/23) and asked to schedule someone to come out to our home and help us with ordering the correct size oven and built in microwave that would fit our older home. This is a free service. Long story made shorter, we were double booked (Geek Squad and 3rd party Co.) for the wrong service ( install), and neither showed. We didn't know it was the wrong service until we went back to speak to a manager. No one via the Geek Squad phone service could answer our questions about what went wrong and why 2 different groups were booked. If all had gone as planned we would have had an oven for Thanksgiving with no charge for install or haul away, as we were on the old Total Tech plan. Had to go back to store and get a manager involved. The manager was courteous and helpful. Currently waiting to see if we can get it taken care of. The rating is for the initial handling. I will write a corrected review if they follow through this time.

Site visit contractor was surprised that the double oven was still in the cabinet wall. He “couldn’t accurately measure the cut out area” for the new double oven to be installed. He said he was not informed that the cut out was still occupied by the current appliance. He thought the installation would be in new construction. Serious miscommunication including cancellation of the first scheduled appointment and a rescheduling error for the second site visit. Not a good process and series of events. Resulted in our decision to postpone future installation of the new double oven until we find someone who knows how to get the correct size and fit for the appliance.

After an in-home consult, I wound up purchasing a new washer/dryer, oven/microwave, dishwasher and refrigerator and was very excited. However, upon my first installation (combined for the refrigerator and dishwasher), it wound up that the refrigerator size was too large and the geek squad was unable to install my dishwasher. From that I was required to find someone to cut into my cabinets to make the refrigerator fit and then hire a plumber to install my dishwasher - extremely disappointed since I thought the purpose of using in-home consulting was to ensure a seamless customer service. After paying out of pocket for that, I was then scheduled the following week for the washer and dryer to be installed. My laundry room is on the second floor and is directly above my kitchen. Upon the first cycle of the washer, my drain pan (thank god I had one) was overflowing. After contacting my in-home consultant, store, etc - I got no response. Forcing me again to hire a plumber and when they came to fix it, they said that the washer was not hooked up properly and that the fittings to the water line weren't tightened properly. Strike 2. Last but not least, I was scheduled to have my oven wall combo microwave pre-measured. Upon taking measurements, they said that there was significant custom trim that needed to be made and when I received a call from the store, there answer was that the in-home consultant yet again had the wrong measurements and recommended the wrong appliance. Upon my request to cancel my order as I have been significantly upset about my entire experience, I decided to give Best Buy one more opportunity. I wound up paying a bit more, but getting an oven wall set that better fits my cabinets - fingers crossed, but most likely never getting appliances from Best Buy again.

Excellent work by the site surveyor and the installers. They took the time to patiently explain how to use and care fore new Range and Range hood.

Visit the Plano store on Preston Rd. Excellent in-store experience and expertise. at first thought to buy online but visiting the store proved useful as I got first hand information and it was easy to find.

Great upgrade to our 27 year old refrigerator. Cold, quiet, and lots of ice.

Can’t rate this as 5 star as I’m not sure what actually the process is. An independent contractor showed up and measured my space and submitted them possibly to Best Buy.

On time, professional, and was completed promptly. When oven arrived there were no problems with the fit.
