The two technicians who came were professional and quick. However, I was told by the appliance person at the local Flower Mound store that the technicians would also look at the Best Buy inventory and make a recommendation on the Microwave model and trim kit based on the measurements. The two technicians said their role was only to take measurements. Clearly a mismatch between what the sales folks at the store are telling us and what the service really delivers.

The Agent did not inform me that my selected oven would require an additional fee to make the cutout larger. (And did not tell installers to bring a saw.) He also did not measure correctly for the microwave oven.

We purchased the Kitchen Aid cooktop on January 5, 2023, and was told but the store representative that it would arrive on January 19, 2023. He also attempted to set up our install date, but stated he could not do it, and would have the Geek Patrol call within 48 hours to schedule, and, he guaranteed that call within 48 hours. So…4 days later, no call, and I phoned them. They advised the earliest install date would be March 15. If we had known this at the time of purchase, we would not have purchased this item at Best Buy. We then went to the store to inquire about this and was informed by customer service that the item actually would not be in until March 22! She had no idea why we were initially told January 19, and scheduled our install for Match 22. So apparently, nobody we were in contact with had no clue about what we were told by the others. This is very poor customer service. So, as of today, we still do not have this item that we have already paid for, and really have no clue when or if we will receive it. Needless to say, we are NOT happy with Best Buy!!

We were getting a gas range installed but didn't have a shutoff valve right at the range location and the site survey person informed us that we could install this valve ourselves or have a pro do it. We decided to do it ourselves because our range was being delivered and installed the very next day.

I still do not have an oven installed. The first time there was a measurement, the guys measured. the install guys came and said the oven would not fit. A second measurement was done and documented what was needed. The guys came to install and had no documentation. there is clearly a gap in communication that Best Buy is responsible to relaying to the multiple contractors. This has been a train wreck. For the record every contractor that has come has been excellent, polite and professional. Best Buy is not setting them up to succeed.

The sales crew was wonderful. They sent people out to measure to be sure everything would fit. They also sent out the installation crew to make sure everything fit. We are very happy with the service that we’ve received. Our stoveFan and dishwasher are back ordered till July.

First off, this service was offered by best buy but was preformed by a third party.
I needed measurements for several appliances in my kitchen.
Totally horrible experience.
2 young, smug guys arrived and parked in front of my neighbor's driveway (BTW this is a rural area with tons of space for parking and only my car there). I came out and told them they needed to move their van and they replied "no we don't" to which I replied "yes you do".
After they moved the van they came in and I said let's start with the above the range microwave. The area had already had an above the range microwave installed there before so I was hoping I was good to go. No, they insisted that I needed to install tile in the area where there was no tile (behind where the microwave would be). When I asked why, they arrogantly told me to "just trust us, just do it, we know what we are talking about". Eventually like 20 mins later they explained that the area needed to be flat (there was tile on the wall below where the mv would be). OK I can understand and work with that but no I didn't not need to install tile to make that happened, it would have been a total waste of time and money.
Next I said, ok, this is the area I have for a refrigerator. They looked at it from across the room and said definitively "18 cubic foot". Really? I asked if they needed to measure it, "no we don't need to measure it, we can tell from looking at it". Really? Well I measured it and I have less than 55" for the door to open. "Oh well, in that case then an 18 cf won't work". DUH!
I am not an idiot, I measured all my spaces. But since the service was "free", and I figured they were "experts", and there are a lot of variables to the equation (door opening space, window placement, etc) I thought it might be helpful and that perhaps they would have some recommendations of fridges that would fit the space, but they didn't.
I am not even going to mention the discussion of my washer dryer and range except to say again, total waste of time.
I am thankful that this service was free (= reimbursed bc of purchases I had already made).
I was actually pretty upset by the time they left.
These guys were idiots.

Fabian and Roger came by early and completed the measuring in less than 10 minutes. They were highly professional and very knowledgeable with their skills. They told me that I would have to move some things prior to the double oven installation.

We didn't have a existing waterline to hook our refrigerator too. A new one had to be installed. We found the technicians to be quick with their assessment of what was needed as far as parts were concerned, then promptly scheduled a second appointment for installation of the new waterline.

The guys who came out to measure the refrigerator area were very nice. Pulled out the fridge to get an accurate measurement. We exchanged to a larger Samsung 4-door replacement.
