    Cable worked fine but to transfer to an ssd the software took 8 hours to tell me it could not do it because of a partition size. This was after it checked all my settings. Just get the cable there are plenty of cheaper options for software if you look that work faster.

    Bought this because the salesperson said it would work on a desktop hard drive, but it only works on 2.5" drives. Kept it and used to clone my laptop drives.
