What I needed

Is not an upgrade kit

Would probably work great if you don't have a back-up partition also on the drive and your current software is making back-ups to that partition. Long story short, the software cannot back up a single partition.

No compatiable with Windows 10 and lost $11.39

This product was not designed and worked (not compatible) with Windows 10. The Ad didn't mention it at all. Disappoint but figured that I could return it as an Elite plus customer. I took it back to the Bestbuy store at Daly City and was told that I could only be refunded with $9.60 + tax. I purchased it at full price ($20.99+tax) but paid with credit card along with $11.39 reward Certificate. since I have no use of it for my Windows 10 laptop. I took the $10.43 refund. I lost $11.39 reward certificate value. It suck!
