Worked great and easy to use and inexpensive. I needed it to transfer data from an old Laptop to a new one ..better option than having to pay someone to do it

My computing crashed so I needed to get my pictures and important information from the hard drive and this was a lifesaver

I use it to read laptop drives. I haven't used the included cd. Just attach the drive and it shows up as a new drive letter on Windows.

I am no computer Wiz but my last laptop broke down and I needed to get my old pictures from it to transfer to the new one and it worked just as expected.

Excellent option to try and save data on a bad hard drive. I was able to save most of my pictures, music, files, and data. Super easy, just plug in like an external hard drive and that was it. Strongly recommend trying this cheap option before ditching/giving up on your potential lost files.

I used this on a hard drive that my PC just wouldn’t boot to and kept giving errors I cloned it with their PE USB program and was able to clone and the drive to an ssd and it works with out issue I had to clone a few times before it found the damaged sectors but eventually I was able to successfully clone the drive

Cable does the job, but software is pointless for Mac users. It just tells you to go online and get a free software.

This is well worth the money for anyone looking to replace a boot hard drive with a Solid State Drive.

I was able to retrieve my data from my 12 year old laptop that had no power.

I replaced the 300GB HD in my Dell Latitude with a 250GB SSD, which involved copying the entire HD to the SSD. The Apricorn "kit" made it a no-brainer. It was literally a plug and play operation. The SSD was plugged into the USB port using the included cable, I ran the software from the CD and that was that. No muss, no fuss. If only all upgrades were this easy.

There wasnt a whole lot of instructions for the use of this software which is very helpful and quick. I have never used it or done a clone of a HHD before but this was very easy to use. i pretty much just picked the from and to locations and kept hitting next. it took me about an hour to clone my 1TB onto a SSD. absolutely amazing and very simple to use.

Replaced the HDD in a laptop with a SSD drive. Downloaded the latest version of the software that comes with the cable. Used this cable to plug new drive in via USB and began the cloning process. It took a couple of hours to clone the drive. Once the software said it was done, swapped the SSD into the laptop, rebooted and everything worked perfectly.

I used this Data Transfer Cable to extract data from my MacBook Pro's HD. I definitely recommend this Cable to anyone trying to buck-up their data.

Bought it to switch a laptop over from a 5400rpm drive to a SSD. Cloning took a while but the slow drive was the bottleneck, not the transfer cable. I used Samsungs data migration software and it went smoothly but I cant speak on the included software. Seems a little over priced for what it is, but if you need it right away, it's a good option.

Bought this to replace my old HDD drive in laptop to SSD. Very easy to use program and instructions. Capable of transferring windows license and operating system to new drive too! Program walks you thru the steps and makes a amateur look like a pro. Highly recommend!!!

used this to clone my hdd to my samsung evo 850 ssd. i was looking for something to get right away instead of waiting to be delivered from a cheaper online retailer so i found this at my local best buy. it was a little pricey but worked great. I did not use the included cloning software cd, instead i used samsung magician, so i cant comment on the included cd. Another thing to consider is once you open it the package states that this product cannot be returned. Also it is USB 3.0, which took me about 1hour 10min to clone 380gb of data.
