    Had a really easy time copying my data from my optical disk to the SSD using the kit. Just plugged the cable to the SSD and USB, ran the program and it was done in 20 minutes. Had a small issue when I used it for my Mac, had to go to the website for help to finish upgrading Macbook Pro.

    Preface this by saying I don't know much about computers in general, but I had so many issues with this. It wouldn't read the data off my hard drive at all. When I tried to copy the data it missed over 2k files.

    Had a 500gb main hard drive that was starting to fail, so I decided to switch to an SSD. Hoped to migrate the data using this cable. Migration was slow and failed twice. Ended up going with a fresh install instead.
