Computer recognized the drive but would error when trying to connect. Therefore, was it the drive or the cable??? I'm assuming the drive, but cannot say for sure.

I needed to replace the hard drive so This was not going to help me anyways. I'm sure if my computer had not bit the big one, it would have worked fine to transfer my data, but everything was fried, so it was a "no go".
