I used this to clone an SSD. It said it cloned successfully but I could not access the data on the drive.

Says what it does, excellent cable to do a hard drive transfer. I didn't use the software, I couldn't get it to work on mac.

The salesman went out of his way to help me, but the part did not work, and with Best Buy's return policy, I could not return it.

Description and Best Buy employee said this would work with a MacBook to MacBook transfer. It doesn’t! Doesn’t work with Mac at all! Couldn’t get a refund on opened software, so that was $30 down the drain. Highly disappointed.

CD Worked well for my 32x processor computer but had trouble with my 64x processor SSD transfer.

I was told this would work for my issue. I need the desktop version instead. Best Buy only had this version in store.

Works great for laptops, not desktop though. Does now have power cable to be able to do desktop hard drive.

Was made to believe I could return it, drove all the way back down there 20 plus miles to be told no I couldn't.

I needed a device to recover the internal SATA hard-drive from a laptop that failed. This was the only device that the Best Buy store had in stock. When I got home, I saw that the package was dated "2011." The package also said it was non-returnable once opened. So I returned it unopened.

Good product not sure how f it works yet because old harddive wouldn't power up pretty sure it was bad

Software doesn't offer the ability to format the destination disk, when it has information already loaded.

The cable worked but only with that software. I was hoping to use this cable for more than copying a drive.

the software worked great but the cord was touchy. every time it moved it seemed to lose connection.

Like all copy software it doesn't quite seem to get everything. Or maybe it was because the source drive was failing.

I used this device to pull info off an old HDD awhile ago. It worked.

Installed as instructed, product could not find hard drive. Tried on desktop to make sure it wasn't me . . . . It wasn't . . . still did not see hard drive. Since software is included it is non-returnable and it does state that on the packaging. DO NOT PURCHASE THIS PRODUCT!

The cable was perfect, the transfer program was not. Used a free 3rd party app and went flawless.

Tried twice to transfer OS and files from one SS Drive to a larger SS Drive. Both attempts resulted errors in Windows registry 10 files not transfered over. Would not open any window type programs. Had to have computer tech at work mirror drive and transfer it over with no issues.
