My fault

I was going to use it for a desk top. There is also a red sticker on it stating this product is not returnable if package has been opened. So it looks like I'm going to eat $39.99 + tax

Doesn't do what it says it will do

Tried using this by plugging a SATA hard drive into my Mac Mini USB3.0 port. It saw the drive and conked out after 10 seconds. Tried again on a windows laptop. Same thing. Finally borrowed a friend's conversion cable and had no problem.

It didnt work for me

After installation the program could not find my old drive so i took it back. Best Buy was quick to accept it back and refund me even though it was opened and without its original box.
