This is a "no nonsense" data copying unit from Apricorn. It is user friendly and straight to the point. It is worth every penny.

Easy to use. I have never used anything else so I do not know how this compares to similar products.

I initially bought this device under the recommendation of one of the Geek Squad guys after telling them that I needed to recover information from a Desktop SATA hard drive. This device was handed to me and I was told it would accomplish what I needed. It didn't. It wasn't until I went to the Manufacturers Website that I found out why it wasn't reading the Desktop hard drive I've used it on occasion to do quick changes from Laptop HD to Laptop, works great in that respect, but I would not recommend this to anyone else unless you are only using it for a laptop.

Purchased to xfer my old HDD info to my SSD and worked perfectly.

This SATA to USB is great. Its very to use, no problem what so ever.

I purchased this product in the store because it states it can move from larger drives to smaller drives. That is true only in very limited circumstances. I had a drive partition on an HDD that was smaller than the target drive that the product couldn't move because it is unable to relocate a partition. If the source partition's ending sector number is larger than the target drive's ending sector number - YOUR'RE OUT OF LUCK! This is overall a very primitive tool that is easily bested by free tools you can find on the internet - which is what I ended up using!

A friend gave me a 1TB HDD that he didn't know he had but we found on moving day, used this cable to connect it to my Xbox One.
