Worked perfect. transfered my entire hard drive to my new SSD. Very fast transfer. Software was easy to use.

Worked great. Upgraded to a SSD Took about40 minutes to transfer everything. Removed old hard drive, installed new SSD drive and computer booted up. New SSD drive is quick. Definitely made transferring files and OS easy.

Like the compact 3.0USB to SATA 2.5" HDD cable with software to clone in a breeze. Cloning a SSD is fast and effortless. One limitation is the sata conventional and Solid State Drive of the 2.5" form factor which I minus one star. Comes with software on a CD but go to the website and download latest version for free. Lastly, there is some issue with using 3.0 usb ports on certain computer.

I Needed to transfer a lot of files in prep for an upgrade, and all i had was an old usb 2.0 drive adapter, so this was a welcome change, doubling and sometimes tripling the speed that I would normally get. a reminder as advertised, only for use with 2.5 hard drives.

This works great to transfer data off an internal drive and move it to another drive when a computer breaks.

I used the cord, which has fast transfer speed but I bought a samsung evo SSD and the software CD didnt work. I used the Samsung magician and it worked phenomenally.

I've been using this to transfer data as well as being used as an external SSD adapter for my PS4 Pro. Definitely improves load times, no issues so far. Wish the kit was a little less costly, but it is what it is.

Did a good job of cloning my old drive to new ssd. Instructions were not clear and program did not do a good job of informing me of the progress of the cloning progress. This is a minor complaint but program has room for improvement.

I used this to upgrade my Macbook Pro (Mid 2012) with a SSD. I didn't use the Windows version of the software but it did include a download of a Mac version. Worked well and didn't take as long as expected. Makes a complete mirror copy of your old drive thus making the new drive a plug n play drive. I still use this cable to connect my old drive via USB 3.0 to use as a backup disc.

Unfortunately it was obsolete and not even listed on the manufacturers web site. The software included was out of date and was no longer supported. However, the hardware performed very well and fortunately that was all I really needed.

This cable helped me get out of a bind, however, it wasn't cheap. This is definitely overpriced at $40. You can definitely find cheaper ones online but if you're in need of a quick fix and do not have time to wait for one to be mailed, this will do the job.

The device worked well for cloning my laptop's old hard drive to the new one I bought to replace it. As it says somewhere (I cannot remember where at the moment), it only works with 2.5 inch drives, not 3.5 inch. The software worked well, though some of the options were a little vague. During the copy operation, most of the screen was blacked out, so I couldn't see what was happening. I just let it run, and it finished successfully.

The cord made it simple to use, the only reason it didn’t get 5 stars is because the provided program does not work with Mac OS. It gives you instructions to download a different program, which is free. Did the job.
