THis was really simple to use and transferred all my data to the new hard drive perfectly.

This is great tool for your tool box. It can be used over and over.

The transfer cable itself was exactly what I needed to transfer my data from my old hard drive to my new laptop. My only complaint would be that it was pricey being that the package included a disk which I had no use for.

Ostensibly got this to read a desktop hard drive temporarily. It didn’t work. However, it does make reading laptop drives easy as you don’t have to put them in a HD case. So it’s still a win for me!

I looked at a number of different products for data transfer, and settled on the Apricorn - Data Transfer Cable. The included software along with the cable made my upgrade to a solid state hard drive quick and painless. No errors at all during the upgrade!

The transfer cable transfers data as advertised. Included software if very basic, but gets the job done. Price is a little steep, though.

Used this to swap out a older standard drive to and SSD, just plugged it into the SSD then the USB port and ran the software. Swapped out the drives rebooted and worked like original. Had no issues with cable or software.

This is a savior. I’m able to transfer my data from one drive to the next. The software could be better. I copied it then completed but it didn’t work so I had to use a different software.

We use at least 5 of these at my production company for transferring video files to SSDs and transferring data from old internal SSDs and they work great. Much easier then using a big bulky dock with power supply if you are only using a 2.5" drive.

This product was the right solution for data transfer challenge.

This product is very easy to use just follow instruction and it does everything else for you.

The OS on my laptop went out and I was unable to access the data on the laptop. I bought the Apricorn data transfer cable to access the hard drive from another laptop. The Apricorn data transfer cable was very easy to use. Just plug one end into the hard drive and the other into the USB port and you can access the hard drive.

This item make switching from a standard hard drive to a solid state drive very easy. Just plug it in to a USB port and then plug in you SSD. Use the included software to make a perfect clone of your old hard drive.
