Works fine as it supposed to. Their software is but hard to understand but, eventually it will work.

I have several of these and use them every day. Data transfers fast but software is unusable.

I've been looking all over the place for a kit like this. Finally found one in Best Buy so I bought. It comes in handy especially when you have a HHD that is about to kick the bucket on you. I've used this kit to completely clone two 400GB HHDs

No software was required, it was recognized right away and connected to USB3.0 mirrored a 128G SSD in less than an hour

Used this to change out my laptops slow 5400 rpm hard drive to a larger SSD drive. Easy to use and it worked great.

Purchased when I bought larger SSD. This program transferred my files flawlessly. Very easy to install and transfer.

My hard disk had many starting problems and blue screens. I used the Data Transfer Cable to disk copy my Windows 7 program from my old bad disk to a new disk. I was very surprised on the great transfered program, but it was a little slow.

I was told it would do something when it clearly didn't, it functions fine, I just can't give it more stars because it didn't perform the task I needed

Just as I completed my taxes, my laptop failed. I had all my records and taxes completed but ir would not turn on. I needed help ASAP. I decided to pull the hard drive to see if I could recover the necessary files. Of course, I needed to connect the drive to another computer, so I opted for this cable at Best Buy. In short order, I was able to recover the files I needed and submit my taxes on time. Great little simple product, it worked like a champ.

I wish I could give a "complete" review as in it worked great. However, when I connected my laptop hard drive to it, it was to discover that although the device worked beautifully, my laptop hard drive did not. It was a goner and I wasn't able to pull anything off of it. It and something else hardware related was apparently wrong with my laptop, so I ended up buying a new laptop. I was just wishing I could have saved my docs on my hard drive. Yes, I had a Western Digital backup hard drive, but hadn't backed up anything since August. So, quite a few items were lost.

Easy install from website. Works great. All my files transferred easily.

This little cord is on the pricey side but it's good to have and has been very useful.

Not sure if it had to do with issues regarding my old HDD, but the data transfer took 6 hours at a slow speed when compared to the ones I’ve seen online. Nevertheless, it cloned my data successfully to my new SSD. No errors when starting it up. FYI: I replaced my original laptop’s 1TB HDD with a 1TB Samsung SSD using this cable.

Does everything that the manufacturer states. I used this to clone a HDD to an SSD. Everything went smoothly. I purchased this because I was in a pinch, but there are cheaper options online.
