I had bought an SSD drive to put into my laptop, I needed a cable to transfer/backup my laptop to the new drive. I had no problems and this worked perfectly for what I needed to do.

I am so happy I bought this. For the longest time i had no idea how to copy hard drives and their entirety but this made it so easy it was like shooting fish in a barrel.

This was a good value. The cable worked great and the software did the trick.

Fantastic product... Install drivers from included CD Remove crashed drive or attach a loose drive and start dragging and dropping..,! Need to erase or reformat a drive, or run diagnostics for integrity... This product has made my life so easy it should be criminal...

I purchased a Samsung Solid State Hard drive for my laptop. I needed an adapter to transfer my data from my existing hard drive to the new one. I used the Samsung software, versus the provided software due to the recommendation of Samsung.

I had a mother board die on a laptop. I wanted to get data off of the hard drive of the dead laptop. I asked the Best Buy associate for help. This was not the most expensive option. It has worked great. I didn't even have to use the software CD.

It did the job and allowed me to extract the data I need it from my no longer functioning Mac. It was super easy to use, no complicated directions

We were needing this so we researched it online first then found it in store.

Works as expected. I wish the cable is longer, but otherwise works just fine.

I tried to use this to view an old laptop hard drive but it didn't work. I think the hard drive itself is dead though given the weird sounds it makes.

I like this data transfer cable. I used to clon my hard drive. Since my computer didn't have a CD-ROM, I downloaded the software online. I think the price can be lowered.

A needed too for any good Computer Tech, If you need this tool this is a good one

The adapter works fine, but the cloning software does not work. The program runs from the disk and freezes every time. Their website gives you the option to download a better program that does not work ether.

This product does exactly what it is designed to do.

Used to copy my old MacBook Pro's 5400 rpm SATA drive to a new Samsung 850 EVO 500GB SSD. Went relatively fast and without any glitches. Swapped the drives and the MacBook Pro started right up and now runs as fast as a new filly.

Transfers data from my previously internal hard drive without any issues

Got one of these to get all of my data off a hard drive that crashed and would not boot up anymore. Worked great and super easy to use. Much cheaper than sending it off to have my info retrieved.

Works perfectly with 2.5" hard drives to connect for cloning.

Does exactly what I need it to do without having to have multiple cords or anything. Didn't even need that disc. Plug and play! (or well in my use, plug and extract!)
