Don't know much about it but it did what we needed it to do

It did the job and allowed me to extract the data I need it from my no longer functioning Mac. It was super easy to use, no complicated directions

I like this data transfer cable. I used to clon my hard drive. Since my computer didn't have a CD-ROM, I downloaded the software online. I think the price can be lowered.

I need this to transfer my files form an old IDE drive to my new SSD drive. It worked perfectly with no issues at all. This software with it was smooth and easy to use for this upgrade swap.

this connector & software enabled me to upgrade my HD and clone my W7 home prem. 500gig drive to a 1tb drive in short order. simple instructions and procedure which will let non techies DIY.

Does exactly what I need it to do without having to have multiple cords or anything. Didn't even need that disc. Plug and play! (or well in my use, plug and extract!)

I bought this not quite knowing if it would do what I needed to do with it. Saved me a lot of money in the long run because I was able to use it to recover data from a HDD from a laptop that had a fried mother board.

overall i would give it a a lower rattng solley on the fact that it looks just like aw wire connecting the harddrive to teh computer, whcicjh it is, so you cant realy be too judgemental. bottomline, it works

I am very glad I bought this item. It replaces a very bulky box that I previously had in order to hook up an old hard drive conveniently to my laptop computer. It is simple and works very well.

Very easy to use. Will use to set up an SSD for a computer tha has a nonworking hard drive.. Procedures are a little more involved, buut instructions appear easy to follow!

Using the software was impossible Computer locked up each time and the image failed. the hardware works and allowed me to manually move files over. Just had to install all the programs individually.

Very easy to plug and go. Software is clear on steps to take. If your drive is failing it may not be able to work past some of those issues. Great for a straight drive swap.

Purchased this kit in order to clone a drive in order to put an SSD into a older laptop. Software worked flawlessly and cable was perfect. This package made it very easy.

I ordered a new SSD for an old computer but needed and easy way to create a new system image. This kit did just that, fast and easy with no hitch. It even has advanced functions to allow tailoring of the install if necessary

I bought this just wanting a transfer cable and not any software. This was all that was available. It turned out your couldn't use the cable unless you installed the software. Then it identified the SSD as a drive under it's own branding making it impossible to use Samsung's software to clone your new drive. I was able to return it after some argument but it turned out all of Best Buy transfer cables have software. ended up going to Amazon.
