I needed to clone several hard drives and this product was excellent. Recommended to anyone needing to clone a hard drive. It is simple and easy to use!

Worked great. I didn't have to change any file protections. I use it to access drives from my obsolete computers.

The cable worked fine for backups, but the CD that came with it, would not boot on 2 different PC (different manufacturer even). Could run software from operating system, but you can't do a 'verify' that way.

Works as expected -- having removed the drive from the 'dead' laptop, this made the drive visible & usable on the new machine.

Have bought this 3 times, and used it on 5 machines... Make sure you pay attention when you assign the source and destination drives, and it's like falling out of a boat, and hitting water...

I needed to recover my data from my hard drive when the graphics went on my computer. It was simple to connect and copy the data off the old drive.

This product worked as advertised, the set up was easy as 1, 2 , 3 and my files were transferred from the old hard drive to my new computer, I would highly recommend this item.

This adapter is great for quick connection in cases where you want to clone a drive or a quick backup to a bare drive. Works without drivers, as expected.

I had a laptop computer die due to the motherboard. I needed the data on the hard-drive and this cable allows me to continue using an internal hard-drive like an external.

System worked well for cloning original laptop HD to Toshiba SSHD in Windows 7. However, when I attempted to do the same on a Windows XP laptop, the software would not recognize the same model of SSHD -- the work-around was to download and use a Toshiba software clone app for XP, along with this product's hardware connector. So, if the system doesn't recognize your new HD, try different cloning software, likely from the HD manufacturer. The product's software -- when it works -- is easy enough to use.

I purchased it to transfer data to my new Samsung evo 1TB, and I must say I am not disappointed. Do not use the software cd that comes with it. Use your SSD manufacture's cloning tool.

I was a little skeptical if this cable will really work; but it did & is amazing to transfer from one disk to another. Also the cable can be used to connect the old disk as a USB drive.

Upgraded Dell Inspiron to Samsung SSD with this cable. Tricky part was to transfer data from 1Gb HDD with multiple Windows partitions to 500Gb SSD. But it worked and I'm happy.

Quick an easy for upgrading from a HDD to SSD. Easiest and cheapest method, short of borrowing one from a friend. No crazy online 3rd-party software downloads needed.

Got the job done and worked with Windows 10. However, I would recommend downloading the latest release first.
