The SATA cable was very instrumental in cloning my existing hard drive to a larger one so that the smaller obsolete drive could be replaced.

I needed to move data from a broken harddrive to a new computer, this made for an easy connection. I am sure it has better uses, but it worked to save family pictures....

Worked great exactly what we needed to transfer everything to the new harddrive. Couldn't of been better. The price was on point as well.

I didn't read specs fully that this only works with 2.5" laptop hdds. It will not power a 3.5" hdd. Once you open it and discover this, you can not return it. Maybe I'll use it one day

It’s easy to use. Use it for a laptop . Didn’t need that disk Idk what that’s for haven’t used it but it works great. Simple data transfer

Needed it to recover off an old hard drive that crashed. The part that sucked is the old drive was literally fried so it did not work as I needed it - found it out after I bought it (I would consider it expensive for what you get (cable and a disc). Used it to transfer a couple other old HD's when upgrading to a larger drive. Not much sense in getting one if trying to tranfer off a bad drive. This is great for upgrading to a larger drive when both are working but did not offer much with a bad drive.

Program is for windows7 or vista which are kind of obsolete by now. The cables by themselves else where are about 5$ so paying another 20$ here for a program that won’t clone a Windows 10 Drive is kind inefficient. Use your money on the cable by itself there are plenty of free cloning softwares out there anyway.

The cloning processes is ok minus a few problems with the software but the hard ware is very easy to use and it is a easy setup for anyone to use
