It worked but the software was out of date. You need to update or find a newer version online to have it work flawless.

I needed it to review SSDs that was trying to clone. The cloner was not working properly and the USB to SSD connect cable allowed me to make copies and get the cloned SSDs to the customer on time.

Bought this to migrate data when I upgraded my laptop to SSD. Copied all my software from the old drive to the new drive in about 20 minutes.

This SATA cable seems to be very limited in the fact that many older computers as well as macs seem to have issues recognizing the secondary device linked to the SATA cable aka the primary hard drive u want to replace. Like other SATA cables u can’t use it for external memory support it strictly will only work with the software provided in the cd it comes with. I have tried 3 Seperate computers to intall a 1tb SATA hhd to boost memory in 3 older computers and all of them I failed to get them To recognize the device or the memory the harddrife has attached to it. A 32 bit windows vista a windows 8 computer and a windows 7 computer. Also I tried this device on a Mac for a ssd internal drive replacement for my parents and they had to take it to BestBuy because the entire Mac book just locked up. It has been totally useless our better off getting a different SATA cable that doesn’t require software and figure out how to do a file transfer on your own using YouTube.

I was able to use this cable to clone a hard disk drive to a new solid state drive. It worked like a charm.

I had to upgrade my disk to a bigger one. This cable allowed me to plug the new disk into the USB port and copy the small disk into the new one. It made my life so much easier!

I was able to transfer everything OS, programs, settings and files from my HDD drive to an SSD drive. Don't see anything missing, never skipped a beat!

Bought me a 1tb SSD hard drive and used this to clone the original hard drive to it. Worked well. I replaced a super slow drive with a super fast SSD, couldn't be more pleased.

I needed this to get data off of my old hard drive from 2010 or 2011 MacBook Pro. It worked. No issues. I was ecstatic I could get my old photos, videos, music and files.

The cable did a great job but ultimately I ignored the software and ended up using AOMEI instead because I liked the software better.

The product does what it claims to do if you read the packaging thoroughly. It will not work with 3.5" hard drives or optical drives. Was a little disappointed with it's limited capabilities.

Whether you're an IT tech or just a home user this is a must have. Super easy setup and the program walks you through everything you need to do to copy your hard drive.

Workes great for us and fast qoeking product. I didnt need to use this many times but it saves us a ton.
