It is assume you are able to boot into windows.. which is only useful if you're trying to upgrade your HD. However, the cord makes for a great USB HD to my old drive once I reinstalled everything manually.

Mac version only so so

Mac instructions did not match system, and downloaded software did not work. Used alternate instruction (provided) to make the system copy itself. Windows version probably works great ....

Good product to copy your drive

Was able to hook up a SSD and copy an old drive to it. The only negative is that the software was very basic. It is only good for copying a good working drive to another. If you are looking to copy a drive that is slowly dying better coping software would be needed.
