    I planned to use this cable, which also included software, to clone my old drive as I moved to a new SSD hard drive. It ended up that I had the Geek Squad do the transfer, which allowd me to have their service for a year, but I plan to use the cable now for making the old hard drive an external storage device, so I come out ahead either way.
