    I have bought this to upgrade my Laptop (Acer 5740-5780) 250 GB HDD to 640 GB without any trouble. My older HDD has windows 7 home premium, MSFT office suite and other software installed. After cloning and installing new HDD, I did not notice any problem except once the screen went blue.

    This is a great cable / software to clone drives. I personally used it only on Windows 10 laptop replacing a slow 1 tb drive with a fast 240 gb SSD. Software intelligently resized partitions to fit into the 240 gb SSD. The only down side is software is on CD and you will need a CD reader but is well worth tool.

    It works as expected, better than the clone applications I have tried that didn’t work. The application don’t work usually in the view working on ours an hours to try to get your system up and running when this takes a little time but it works.
