It seems that this will only connect an existing computer's hard drive. Will keep this and continue trying.

Does what I needed it to do

After several attempts, to no avail, I decided to test it out on another hard drive I had. Worked like a charm, so I knew that the HDD was gone. Only drawback to this: the included software was... meh, at best.

Didn't work for me

100% Safe Copy!

When the copy is made from Ssd to Ssd, the process is very fast. Should only replace the cd by a pendrive, nowadays, most notebooks do not have a CD drive. But solved easily with a download.

Makes backing up hd a breeze

I use this handy little cable to mirror my main drive with os and all. The cable even came with great software to do this with. In case of emergency just use the mirrored drive then remirror the infected drive for next time.
