Arcade 1UP ..This is the best cabinet by far for replayability . The games are super fun and the gameplay is insane. Those childhood memories and quarters put in at the arcades all comes back. The cabinet looks just like the arcade if not better, and it now has online capabilities ,which makes for even better gameplay with your online opponents.This cabinet is must get for all. totally awesome BOOM....HE"S ON FIRE

Note that I am a classic arcade game purist, therefore feel free to tune out any of my "nit-picking" in this review. For the casual Arcade1up collector, this is a must-buy. It is a mostly faithful adaptation of the original 1993 arcade cabinet that nicely captures the essence of the real thing in a scaled-down package. The MIDWAY logo is bafflingly missing from the sides of the cabinet and the marquee. For the price, the inclusion of only 3 NBA games is somewhat disappointing. Where are NBA Maximum Hangtime, NBA Jam Extreme, and NBA Showtime/NBA on NBC to name a few? Also, there are many players noticeably absent from the rosters. As a die-hard Knicks fan, it is simply not the same playing against the Pacers without Reggie Miller for example. Other than that, all three games play identically to their mid-90s arcade counterparts. I will give the designers extra points for finally including options menus for each game where items such as the difficulty (read: how cheaply the A.I. will play, as is the case with so many Midway sports games) and game timer speed can be tweaked. Also, the Wi-Fi is an intriguing feature that allows you to play against anyone/anywhere over an internet connection. My hope is that it can eventually be used for additional content such as roster "updates" and perhaps the online purchase of the aforementioned NBA titles that were left out. Items like the light-up marquee and riser seem to be becoming standard equipment for these Arcade1up games. I wish, however, that they would make the designs on these risers look more like natural extensions of the cabinets themselves. The small NBA logo at the bottom looks redundant. Oh well, there are plenty of aftermarket graphics available out there to suit any taste. The bar stool is a nice touch as well - although its height is NOT adjustable. The inclusion of the "light up" deck protector is pointless to me, as the real thing did not have this and it is nothing more than an color-changeable LED strip affixed to the back of the control panel that illuminates the plexiglass protector. I simply do not have mine hooked up. Your mileage may vary with this. Overall, I do recommend this, as Arcade1up (whether intentional or not) makes these things rather easy to modify to your liking - with a little ingenuity - if the product does not 100% appeal to you right out of the box. However, you could easily spend just as much on modifications as you could on the machine itself. Again, it all depends on your taste. That's the beauty of Arcade1up. Casual fans will love them right out of the box and be perfectly happy. More serious enthusiasts will see these as mostly blank canvases and go to town modifying them.
