This is the worst port I've ever played. It runs bad, looks bad, and plays bad. It's either so dark, or so bright you can see anything. It can be fun with 2 or 3 friends, but only for a few hours. Never pay more that $20 for this.

The cover clearly shows a woman riding a dinosaur while holding a gun. But one third of the time, ranged weapons don't reload due to a glitch that's been in the game for years and never fixed, thus you get killed. Another third of the time, you'll be searching google for instructions on how to get the game's functions and menus to work. and the other third, you'll be killed from behind by a dinosaur you're pretty sure wasn't there a second ago, then respawn killed shortly after. In short, the game is buggy and unbalanced, and not in a way that makes it any fun. Consider No Man's Sky instead.

bought this for my 11 year old who loves dinosaurs.....she's an avid gamer and we were both disappointed in the game. Graphics are first gen PS3 trying to be emulated on a PS2 console......seriously......not sure of the resolution, but i'm guessing its less than 480P. there's an option to turn off motion blur and to sharpen the graphics.....but it makes it only slightly less horrible. framerate is god awful too. honestly don't know how this one passed quality assurance, but its garbage, plain and simple.

This is the worst game I've ever played in my entire life. 0 stars, but can't give lower than 1. Don't buy this game unless you like PC straight to console games with no direction on what to do. Graphics are the worst I've ever seen.

Very disappointed in this game. Base building/resource gathering with dinosaurs sounded like a blast but I found it to lack any explanation, tutorial, anything. Got off to an immediately poor start.

    Fun Times and Good Difficulties

Been playing this game since early access; comparing to when I first started this game to about 5 months ago, the game has come a long way despite some bugs and glitches that had taken so long to fix up; the only hiccup I've run across from time-to-time was some spawn issues with my base due to it being so large; pvp can be a nightmare sometimes, but overall, I love the graphics, adjustable difficulty, things to do throughout each map (total of 5 right now, with favorite being either Ragnarok, Scorched Earth, or Center); and with all the creatures to tame, fight, and equipment and resources to go through, it can be tedious but fun at the same time; I've had a great experience with this game and honestly couldn't recommend it more to a friend :)

The game is great but is a buggy mess, has corrupt developers mass banning players for attacking their tribe on PVP, also servers will be going down in August 2023 and you'll have to buy the remaster again at full price.

    Game was fun in beta.

In Beta game was a blast except for the updates 3 times a day.... now that its released they down for about 1 update a day. Here is the problem now..... If you want to play and have tech support you cant play on a"legacy" server so that forces everyone to play on a official. Well at launch and for the next month or so the servers were all full. So you can even get in, now only weekends are full so dont plan on playing then. The big kicker now is they limit the number of tamed dinos a server can have.... the personal tame limit is like 600 when the server tame limit is like 4000. what does this mean? well it means that like 5-6 people on a 70 person server can cap it out and they did. I have around 10 dinos.... i went to tame more and it wont let me because other people have 400+ so now everyone on server (ragnarok 71) is stuck doing nothing. and tons of people tryin to transfer so the last few new servers are capping. so unless you can play on a private server with friends i wouldnt play this if they paid me.

Sadly, this game isn't a tripple A title, they don't even supply the scorched earth map with this, to me its not worth 60 bucks. Have this on xbox and pc, got both for around 20 bucks each. official servers are horrible, pvp: iv seen large tribes pretty much force smaller groups to "pay for protection", pve: tribes fight to board up as much land as they can out of pure greed. Sadly, private or single player for the most fun. Once you start taming rexs and spinos theres really no challenge or much left to do in it without mods, the game just becomes farmesvill or harvestmoon. If you join tribes becareful of their rule sets as they can claim your dinos/gear/mats/land/buildings when you join, if you leave your SOL. If you see it on sale for like 30 bucks I'd say go for it. Deff recommend steam pc version though, with mods on private servers you can have over 4K hours logged easy.
