Cables work, but price is insane

The cameras don't work with generic power cables, and the cameras faulty motion sensing causes the requirement of a power cable or the camera battery will die within 2-3 days if there is motion detected (even if outside the activity zone). 2 cables for $100 for cameras that are supposed to be battery powered. So while the cables do work with the camera, the price is absolutely insane.

DO NOT PURCHASE ARLO

Imagine my surprise when Arlo changed their subscription plan and canceled my legacy subscription. They have shut off half my cameras, and the cameras that are still active are unable to record video until I add a new subscription for over double the price I was previously paying. This is bad practice. Before purchasing search Arlo Community and other forums for angry customers. Products are solid, but the company is not. I would not recommend spending any money on an Arlo product.

over priced

Especially when you only need 5 feet and pay for 20 feet you don't need. Complete scam and wasteful

Great cable

Tried solar panels, but it has been too cold for them to charge the cameras. This also seems to decrease the camera connection to love view when charged to 100%

Era message stating of using wrong wired. Even that it as the right code. Trying it in my old camera that already as a wired... and same message shows up.

Poor Design

It takes up the entire 2-plug outlet. I had to purchase a deeper outlet box just for it to fit. It would have been practical to design the plug smaller or a USB that detaches from the plug.

Lasted only a few weeks; Best Buy no help!

Best Buy was not helpful in returning the product. Contracted COVID 19 and couldn’t return until after 14 day return policy had expired. Their “policy” was more important than customer service even though I was an Elite member. The product itself should last for years and Arlo has a one year warranty on their products. Best Buy deferred me to Arlo to resolve, so hopefully they will replace the charging cable for me without too much difficulty.

Appears moisture was able to get into the plug-in housing. Purchased 4 non ARLO 10' outdoor cables as a package for under $25 on Amazon. All 4 are holding up well. Magnetic end provided strong connection.

Sadly doesn’t fit like the original cable!

Cameras are not holding their chargee

It takes a long time for the pictures come up, as much as a minute or two.
