    Decent camera after start up issues.

    I have had arlo cameras for years and when I had a chance to get an updated version I jumped at the opportunity. Once received and proceeded to set up is where the camera had issues. Now having several Arlo cameras currently, set up is usually a breeze. This new one refused to connect to the wifi. I reset the camera, reset the router etc. and still nothing. Called support and they were unable to troubleshoot it either. About a day later I received an email from tech support and they offered to help. It took another day and a half, but they were finally able to run me through additional steps to get it to work. As far as the camera's performance it is on par with the other Arlo cameras I have. Picture is clear and the built in spotlight does a good job illuminating the immediate area. It also has solid color night vision. The camera easily interacts with the Arlo app. You can set up specific alert areas so the camera will trigger when a person, animal, vehicle etc. Crosses into this particular area. Camera can also detect when packages are left on your doorstep. Its definately a smart camera. The best part of the entire system is every camera is wireless. I would still recommend this product.

    It is not able to be set up for recording times like it states. Continually records and runs battery out. I should have just went with a Ring camera but thought this would work and it was in sale. Wow, was I mistaken.

    Be very aware when you buy a Arlo camera, they assured you don't have to buy a subscription, but after owning it for a month all the features are gone on the camera and you have to buy the subscription to get the features back, by then the window to return the Arlo is closed. Very dissapointed customer

    Arlo -essential camera : It is not easy to connect to the Wi-Fi, and it constantly drops out of the Wi-Fi. I do not recommend this device.

    I had high hopes for this camera. As the saying goes, you get what you pay for. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesnt. Super disappointed. It will work just fine then all of a sudden, you can't get it to work for anything!

    Id give them 0 stars if they had it. would never recommend this camera prodect. They lie about all features and when you call the contact #, they are fake numbers. They use fine prints to charge you extra for primeum that doesnt work. Horrible device.

    This camera constantly goes offline. Its very disappointing because the reviews made it seem like it was a good product but it's not worth the money. I only gave one star because it couldn't be rated less. Also, you have to pay a monthly fee.

    I've been using the Arlo Fall Security System 3 for five days now, and I'm thoroughly impressed. The setup was surprisingly straightforward. The camera's image quality at 1080P and its color night vision is pretty good. The 130-degree field of view ensures excellent coverage. The battery life has been truly impressive in the five days at my front door outside. It's worked without issue so far. The two-way audio feature proves quite handy for quick communication, and smartphone integration operates seamlessly. Real-time alerts and remote camera access have brought peace of mind, especially for monitoring my porch. What's also worth mentioning are the cloud storage options provided by Arlo. They offer flexible plans, including using the local storage on the onboard storage, allowing you to choose what suits your needs and budget. It's a valuable addition for securing your recorded footage. The only thing I was not to thrilled about was the mounting of the camera. I would like a option to adjust where the camera points to. You have to be sure of placement with this one. Outside of that I like it. In just these five days, the Arlo Fall Security System 3 has proven user-friendly and reliable, making it a top choice for those seeking enhanced security and convenience. I highly recommend it.

    The Arlo - Essential 1-Camera Outdoor Wireless HD Security Camera (2nd Generation) with Color Night Vision – White is a small camera that has huge functions to keep my home surveillance secure. All functionality is directed by first installing the Arlo Secure: Home Security app. After securing the mounting plate to the wall, I easily slid the camera to lock on the plate. Once I connected my Wi-Fi to the Arlo - Essential 1-Camera Outdoor Wireless HD Security Camera (2nd Generation) with Color Night Vision – White, I had the ability to watch and record video in HD, on my mobile phone. Not only is video shown clearly during daytime hours, but nighttime video and surveillance is also possible with its Color Night Vision. I can receive notifications and watch live streaming video from the Arlo - Essential 1-Camera Outdoor Wireless HD Security Camera (2nd Generation) with Color Night Vision – White when motion is detected. I like the ability to listen and speak with people outside my home with its Two-Way audio noise cancelling. Even though it is not a weapon to give protection from any form of violence, it can freeze or scare an intruder by using the spotlight function to shine on a trespasser. And I also have the ability to use my high pitch Integrated Siren manually or automatically to attack the ears of an intruder for deterrence. It comes with a rechargeable battery that holds its charge for a long time. The conditions of the weather does not impede the Arlo - Essential 1-Camera Outdoor Wireless HD Security Camera (2nd Generation) with Color Night Vision – White from functioning at all. I feel more prepared for keeping my home secure with the Arlo - Essential 1-Camera Outdoor Wireless HD Security Camera (2nd Generation) with Color Night Vision – White.

    Very disappointed in this product it needs to be charged often it takes a very long time to connect to the camera, the settings aren’t working properly.

    Sometimes it picks up motion sometimes it does not. I have other Arlo cameras different models and they work amazing. This one is almost trash to me

      Thanks for sharing your review. If you're having problems viewing your live feed on your Arlo Essential Outdoor 2K Camera, a reboot of the camera should fix the live stream connection issues. To reboot, press and hold the camera's Pairing Button until the LED turns solid blue (approximately 30 seconds). Once the LED turns solid blue the Arlo Essential Camera will reboot.
